Britney Spears will have major support if she decides to request an end to her conservatorship after we've learned the #FreeBritney movement will be holding a massive rally in front of the courthouse for today's hearing.

The group, which has organized and updates the media on upcoming events, says a large turnout is expected and a gathering is scheduled for the Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles -- which is around the corner from the courthouse. The rally is set to take place at 1:30 pm.

As you know, Britney is appearing at her own conservatorship hearing after telling the court she wanted an expedited event where she could address the court directly. It's unclear exactly what Britney will ask for, or say, but reports suggest she will ask the court to remove her father from working with her estate. Many believe the pop star will also start the process of terminated her conservatorship.

At the #FreeBritney rally Rick Black, director of Center for Estate Administration Reform, will speak to the crowd. CEAR advocates for seniors and dependent adults, as well as others exploited by the legal community. Interestingly, Kerri Kasem, daughter of the late Casey Kasem and founder of Kasem Cares, will also be in attendance.

As we reported, it is possible the judge doesn't allow the public and media to witness Britney's statements, and we know they have ordered NO cameras or recording equipment to be used in the hearing.

The hearing comes on the heels of a bombshell new report from The New York Times outlining previously sealed court documents which show a much different picture of the ongoing conservatorship than what has been reported by her team. As we reported, a lawyer for Jamie Spears said, “Any time Britney wants to end her conservatorship, she can ask her lawyer to file a petition to terminate it; she has always had this right but in 13 years has never exercised it." But, the new report claims Britney has been trying to get out of it for years.

According to the NY Times, Britney seriously opposed the conservatorship and has asked for it to be terminated several times. It also revealed she has been controlled and restricted with everything from who she can date, to the color of her kitchen cabinets. Plus, it claims she was told to perform while seriously ill. "She is sick of being taken advantage of and she said she is the one working and earning her money but everyone around her is on her payroll,” an investigator wrote at the time.

The hearing is set for later today, and it's unclear how much access will be given to the public. We are there...Stay Tuned.
