Sydney Sweeney In ‘Great Jeans’ Told She’s ‘More Attractive Than Taylor Swift’

Actress Sydney Sweeney has made headlines for her American Eagle jeans campaign, which received a fair amount of controversy online. One user decided to take to social media to cause an even deeper divide on the Internet, comparing her to pop star Taylor Swift. While both are celebrated celebrities, it was clear who the Internet decided was more attractive.

One user admitted, “I will lose followers for this,” but went ahead and voiced the controversial opinion that “Sydney Sweeney is more attractive than Taylor Swift.” To prove her point, she attached a photo of the “Euphoria” star posing in a periwinkle tank top that was tucked into a pair of denim jeans.

“What kind of comparison is that? Swift has the sex appeal of an ironing board, not to mention the fact that she can't sing or dance... and Sydney is sexy...” one user wrote, but it seemed not everyone agreed. Another user opined, “Without eyelash extensions on the eyelids, silicone, Botox, with normal lips, without tattoos- even though on the neck- can she be attractive? Some kind of tastelessness...”

There were a lot of comments insisting that neither Sydney nor Taylor was actually that attractive. “Sydney Sweeney is a 4 at best. Taylor Swift is built like a 13-year-old boy. Stop acting like either one is attractive,” one user wrote.

That comment also drew backlash online, with another follower writing, “Bro, you clearly wouldn’t know an attractive woman if one hit you in the face. Unless they blinded you, because then you would do better.”

The comparisons kept coming in the comments. “Sydney is a solid 8. Taylor probably believes she's an 8, but is actually more like a 5. And that's me being generous,” another user shared.

“Taylor is a solid 5 at closing time,” another opined. “TS isn’t even on the field with Sydney,” another user shared. “And it’s not even close. Sydney is the bomb,” another fan agreed.

Fortunately, there were some followers who appreciated how beautiful both women were. “Sydney is very beautiful, but Taylor, whom I love, is amazing. They are both very beautiful,” one fan wrote.

“They are both absolutely beautiful. 100%,” another user agreed. However, there were some fans who didn’t think that either woman was attractive, writing, “In my opinion, there are much prettier everyday girls out there. By the ton.”
