Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are once again trying to sell their Beverly Hills mansion, which they lived in before their split.

The former couple first listed the property before news of their breakup became public last year, but pulled it off the market in July after months without finding a buyer. Originally priced at $68 million, the home’s asking price has since been reduced twice.

Since listing the house and finalizing their divorce, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have purchased new homes in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have relisted their Beverly Hills mansion on the housing market after taking it off the market in July 2025.

The former couple purchased the home in May 2023 for $60,850,000 after tying the knot the year before.

In May 2024, reports emerged that they had been quietly shopping the estate off-market amid rumors that their marriage was on the rocks.

The home was officially placed on the market for $68 million in July 2024, one month before Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck.

While the divorce has since been finalized, their inability to sell the property has left them unable to fully close that chapter of their lives.

In an effort to secure a sale, the pair has slashed the price twice, first to $59,950,000 and most recently to $52,000,000,  as reported by TMZ.

Since it came on the market over a year ago, multiple prospective buyers have toured the house without ultimately making a purchase.

Amid the struggle to sell, an insider told TMZ that high interest rates in the real estate market are making it difficult to close a deal.

The asking price was also cited as another reason for the lack of buyers, something Lopez and Affleck have tried to address with recent price cuts.

Unfortunately for Affleck and Lopez, if and when they do sell the property, they will not make a profit, as the current listing price is now below what they originally paid.

The losses will be even greater, considering they had fully renovated the mansion to the highest quality before putting it up for sale.

Additionally, they will still be required to pay the standard Los Angeles mansion tax.

According to previous reports, the Beverly Hills mansion has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guard house, and a caretaker house.

Other massive facilities for staff, recreation, and parking include an indoor sports complex featuring basketball and pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a 12-car garage, a boxing ring, a zero-edge swimming pool, as well as a sports lounge and bar.

The purchase of the home was said to be Affleck’s idea and described as a “major compromise” for Lopez, who reportedly prefers a more romantic, Spanish, European-style vibe.

"The $68 million mansion was Ben’s idea and a major compromise for her," an insider told People Magazine in September 2024.

"She agreed to it because of its spacious layout, accommodating both their families, a gym and a pickleball court, office space, plus it has two private entrances," the source added at the time.

Once the Beverly Hills mansion is sold, the proceeds are expected to be split between Lopez and Affleck in accordance with the terms of their divorce settlement.

The exact breakdown of who receives what will remain private, though it’s believed the division may favor the partner who contributed more financially toward the purchase.

Although they were unable to offload the property at the time of their separation, that didn’t stop either of them from moving on to new homes.

In July 2024, Affleck bought a $20 million residence in the Sullivan Canyon area of Brentwood, conveniently located near where his younger children, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, live with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Their eldest daughter, Violet, 19, is currently studying at Yale University.

Lopez, meanwhile, was reported earlier this year to have purchased an $18 million property in the Los Angeles area, though details about the new home are currently sparse.
