Prince Harry seems to be edging closer to a return across the pond, one inquiry at a time.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be leaning heavily towards a permanent life in the United Kingdom as the days roll by, and his recent encounter with his father has reportedly heightened the chance.

Over the past few months, several attempts have been made behind the scenes to facilitate a meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles, including their aides meeting in London around July.

The royal prince reportedly declared his admiration for the community spirit in the United Kingdom and their amazing educational system, all of which reportedly points to the fact that he may now be open, more than ever to the idea of moving.

He made this known at the 20th Annual WellChild awards, where he exchanged warm pleasantries with guests and performers backstage, including how everything feels back home.

Pop star Joss Stone told HELLO! that the prince emphasized the importance of community to raising children and how the school system in the country facilitates that. He also asked important questions bordering on how the popstar was faring on her recent move back to the United Kingdom with the kids.

The Blast noted that a friend of the prince confirmed that he is still keeping in touch with his contacts from back in his days at Eton, and he wants that kind of network for his children, too.

The source, Richard Eden, added that the prince deeply wishes to educate his children in the United Kingdom, and he has expressed that expressly to him. Harry reportedly feels like his children are "missing out on the extensive family network that their niece and nephews are enjoying."

The 41-year-old reportedly has strong reservations about the educational system in America and would prefer his kids to attend school in the United Kingdom.

As of now, Prince William's three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louise, all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire.

While Harry's plan to explore the educational system in the United Kingdom waxes stronger, insiders have stated that it may signal the beginning of a greater problem for him and his wife.

The "As Ever" brand owner reportedly currently finds the idea of sending the school to boarding houses very backwards and barbaric, but the subject matter is open to negotiation.

The source noted that King Charles seems pleased with the idea of his grandchildren coming back home to school, and it might have come up during their discussion back in England. He expressed to the press after the visit that it brought them closer, and he plans to come again with his children.

Typically, meetings like the one Charles just had with Harry would have Queen Camilla present, serving as a buffer; however, things were much different on this trip.

"The fact that Camilla wasn't there – when she was before — would show that Harry has signaled something to him that he could be trusted one-on-one," a source explained.

As reported by The Blast, Harry and Camilla have shared a strained relationship since she entered the royal family. The father-of-two always thought that the Queen played the long game of phasing their mother out to marry the king and possibly get the crown.

Harry had also accused her of leaking sensitive stories about the royal family to the press, to help maintain her image and increase her popularity. Following the meeting, a royal author, Robert

Hardman explained to the media that if things remain hush, there will be another meeting. However, should the royals hear another detail of their private life in the press, that process will be inevitably prolonged.

If the couple decides to move today and enroll their kids in English schools, they won't face any issues with assimilation. Meghan had previously stated on her Netflix series "With Love, Meghan" that their two kids sometimes surprise her by seamlessly incorporating British accents into their vocabulary.

The Duchess of Sussex identified a scenario where the kids pronounced zebra with an English accent rather than the American one, and it began as them mimicking their dad's accent.

"Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent. So they'll say, 'Ze-bra,' and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out," Meghan explained to Drew Barrymore at the time on her "The Drew Barrymore Show."

She noted that they have very smooth American accents, but they just decide to do things their father's way sometimes, which she found adorable.

Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find a common ground on the possible move to the U.K.?
