Brad Pitt has finally closed a fair deal on his burglarized Los Angeles Home.

The "F1" actor, who recently upgraded security measures at his new house due to an invasion at the old one, has decided to part ways with the old property. The invasion incident obviously affected this decision, as he sold it for $300,000 less than he bought it.

Unwanted guests broke into Brad Pitt's Los Feliz home on June 25, 2025, while the actor was out of town promoting his "F1" movie. About two months later, Pitt wasted no time in securing a $12 million Spanish-style mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

Pitt sealed an off-market deal on the sale of his house in the Los Angeles area for $5.2 million. The actor struck this bargain with Austin Butler, who now takes over the deed to the estate. The agreement for the sale of the 3-bedroom historic house was finalized last month.

Two years ago, Pitt acquired the property for $300,000 more, so this sale can be seen as a fair deal. Earlier in the summer, the home was broken into and ransacked, hence the actor's eagerness to part ways with the property.

According to reports, the actor had placed the house on the market and had received a wave of interest before the burglars broke in, so the unforeseen incident had little to no effect on the sales process.

The culprits of the crime have been arrested, TMZ reports, so Butler can rest easy knowing his safety will not be compromised. The estate, popularly known as "The Steel House," was built back in 1960 and has had a series of owners, including Aileen Getty and popular Maroon 5's James Valentine.

Pitt has indeed moved on from the property, as he acquired a $12 million Los Angeles home. The new Hollywood Hills mansion, previously owned by The Killers' guitarist Dave Keuning, has been added to Pitt's name.

The Blast reported that Pitt bought Keuning's mansion for almost $2 million less than the original $13.99 asking price. On August 5, two months after Keuning listed the property for sale, the purchase was reportedly finalized with Pitt getting himself a good bargain.

The new mansion is a considerable step up from the Los Feliz home, as it has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms alongside a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles, with other luxuries like a pool, lounge, and built-in barbecue area.

Reports indicate that while Pitt had security measures in place during his presence, he showed little concern for his absence from the house. The robbery incident proves that the security guards were even more needed when he was not around.

A source, as reported by The Blast, explained that the house was easily robbed because it lacked a strong fence and had minimal barriers. Due to this alleged lack of care for security, the three suspects reportedly scaled the front wall of the steel house at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25.

Upon gaining entrance, through a front window, they ransacked the place and got away with an undisclosed amount of miscellaneous items. This incident then moved Pitt to bring in more guards to work around the clock.

Investigations followed after the unfriendly circumstance at the steel house, and the authorities have arrested two teenagers in connection with the event. The two 18-year-olds are reportedly named as Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles.

Both teens have been charged with first-degree burglary charges along with an enhancement for allegedly working together. Investigators also say that this is not their first robbery attempt, as they had earlier targeted another home on August 7 in Orange County.

The LAPD gave a full recount of the manner of the forceful entrance into the house and the robbery that followed, and steps are being taken to ensure the culprits are brought to book.

Brad Pitt has been going through some difficult times. The Blast reported that the Hollywood star has lost his mom, who died at the age of 84 without seeing her grandkids.

The separation of Pitt's kids from his mom, which sources described as agonizing for him, was blamed on his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

Jolie reportedly made the gut-wrenching decision to keep the children from their grandparents, and this does not foster a healthy family relationship. Pitt fears that he could face the same isolation fate and is deeply hurt that his kids missed out on years with their grandmother.
