Britney Spears In Daisy Dukes Can’t ‘Go A Day Without Dancing’

Pop star Britney Spears loves to dance. She started off her career as a triple threat – dancing, singing, and even acting in the 2002 film “Crossroads” alongside Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning. Unfortunately, her career went off the tracks when she was subject to a court-ordered conservatorship in February 2008 following her public mental health breakdown. Although her conservatorship came to an end in November 2021, recent videos of her dancing have sparked controversy, with some claiming that the conservatorship never should have ended. However, one clip posted by the singer on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, shows that the “Toxic” singer has always been dancing on social media.

“I think it's impossible for me to go a day without dancing,” the “Oops!... I Did It Again” singer wrote in the caption of a video that she posted in April 2018, years before her conservatorship came to an end. She capped off the caption with a winky face emoji and a rose emoji to signify her favorite flower.

In the video, she can be seen spinning around in front of a railing and stomping one leg dramatically. She paired a yellow crop top that was tied in the back, along with a pair of ripped daisy dukes and brown sandals. She added a bit of country flair to her look by tucking her wavy blonde hair underneath a wide-brimmed brown hat.

Although it was taken during her conservatorship, fans at the time had nothing but love for her video. “You are crazy and cool,” one fan declared. “Look at you working that outfit. Get it, queen,” another follower wrote along with a GIF of a character eating popcorn.

“Dance into the studio, sis,” a third fan begged, perhaps hoping for some new music from the Princess of Pop. Unfortunately, the singer only released two singles following the end of her conservatorship and has hinted in past Instagram posts that she might retire from music entirely.

The pop star has continued to share dancing videos on her Instagram page, not only because she likes to dance, but also because she has gotten praise for it in the past. There was hardly a negative comment to be found on this dance video.

“You look amazing, queen, and your dancing is fire!!! Love watching you perform,” one fan wrote. “Sweet Britney, you’re a girl on fire in your shorts. That’s so hot!!!” another follower exclaimed while another fan told her that she was “still looking good.”

The praise continued, with one fan calling her “so amazing.” Another follower called her “literally so perfect.” A third fan told her, “You always make my day,” while another follower shared, “I don’t know what it is, but you are sure fun to watch dance.”

Another follower said that Sam Asghari was lucky to have her. Although the couple started dating in 2016 and tied the knot in 2022, Sam filed for divorce in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
