Prince Harry was seemingly subtly dissed by President Donald Trump during his speech at a state banquet held at Windsor Castle.
In his remarks, Trump heaped praise on Prince William but made no mention of Harry, whom he has previously taken swipes at.
The Duke of Sussex has also faced criticism from Donald Trump's son Eric, who referred to him and his wife, Meghan Markle, as "spoiled apples."
Donald Trump Subtly Shades Prince Harry As He Heaps Praise On William

At Wednesday's grand state banquet at Windsor Castle, U.S. President Donald Trump delivered an address that seemed to carry a subtle jab at Prince Harry while praising Prince William
"This is truly one of the highest honors of my life," Trump said during the event, which had King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Catherine, and over 100 other dignitaries in attendance.
The billionaire then turned his attention to King Charles, saying, "I have such respect for you and such respect for your country for many decades," and praising him for preserving "the glorious and unique character of this kingdom."
He went on to describe Prince William as the King's "remarkable son," but noticeably left out any mention of Prince Harry, who relocated to the U.S. in 2020 after stepping down from his senior royal role.
The subtle dig at Harry comes months after Charles also heaped praises on William, without making any mention of his second son.
The U.S. President Praised King Charles' Philanthropic Deeds

After commending Williams, Trump appeared to take another jab at Harry by highlighting the King's philanthropic efforts, an area more often associated with the Duke of Sussex through initiatives like the Invictus Games.
The commander-in-chief said Charles "uplifted the poor, cared for rural farmers, and tended to wounded veterans like nobody else," including Harry.
He then doubled back to praising Williams, saying the 43-year-old is "going to have an unbelievable success in the future."
"Melania and I are delighted to visit again with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine so radiant and so healthy, so beautiful. It's really a great honor," Trump continued, per the New York Post.
Elsewhere in the speech, Trump also praised the relationship between the U.S. and the U.K.
"Together we've done more good for humanity than any two countries in all of history," he said. He later emphasized that the bond between the U.S. and the U.K. is so profound that calling it "special" doesn't "begin to do it justice."
Donald Trump Previously Stated 'He Wouldn't Protect' Prince Harry In The U.S. Over His Immigration Status

On previous occasions, Trump has made it clear there is little love lost between him and Prince Harry.
Last year, he said the Duke of Sussex would not be given special treatment regarding his immigration status, a topic that stirred debate after a think tank sued the Department of Homeland Security over Harry's records.
"I wouldn't protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That's unforgivable," the president said during an appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Md., per the New York Post.
"He would be on his own if it was down to me," Trump added, before remarking that the last administration had been too "gracious" to Harry after "what he has done."
Why The U.S. President Left Prince Harry Alone

Earlier this year, Trump appeared to walk back his comments about potentially deporting Harry.
While addressing the issue of his immigration status, the president noted he no longer planned to go after the Duke of Sussex or have him investigated.
However, Trump still took a swipe at both Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
"I don't want to do that," Trump told the press after he was questioned about Harry's deportation rumors, per The Express. "He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible."
The Billionaire Mogul's Son Called Harry and Meghan 'Spoiled Apples'

Much like Trump, his son Eric has also been outspoken about Harry and Meghan.
In an interview with British outlet GB News, Eric remarked that the couple were "an island of their own," a comment seemingly aimed at their decision to step away from royal duties and relocate to California.
"What I can tell you is, my father had so much respect for the queen, as did I. My mum knew so many of them for years and had a great relationship with Diana," Eric said at the time. "It's a sacred institution. You can happily have those two [Meghan and Harry], we might not want them anymore, it feels like they're on an island of their own."
He then bluntly remarked that Harry and Meghan have distinguished themselves within the royal family, though not in a positive sense.
Eric added, "You can always have bad actors in everything. You can have spoiled apples in every orchard."
