The NFL has gotten involved in the domestic violence drama between Tyreek Hill and his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro.
The sister of retired safety Kenny Vaccaro filed scathing allegations against her ex late last month, claiming he had repeatedly abused her during their 17-month marriage. However, the athlete vehemently denied the accusations, labeling them an exploitation scheme.
Given Tyreek Hill's status as a prominent wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, the NFL could not sit back and watch the legal drama play out. The football league announced last week that it would investigate the situation, with new reports confirming that the organization had taken action.

The NFL kept its word about verifying the domestic violence claims leveled against one of its athletes. Sources recently claimed Hill's estranged wife was scheduled to share her side of the story, through her attorney, with the league's senior vice president for investigations, Lisa Friel.
Vaccaro's lawyer, per sources, would speak to Friel on Thursday, September 18, about the abuse allegations. Depending on the outcome of their conversation, Vaccaro might meet with the NFL's investigator in person to address her claims against Hill.
TMZ reported that Hill's participation in games would continue amid the ongoing investigation. The athlete has made 10 catches for 149 yards during two games this season. Before the NFL announced its plans to look into the abuse allegations, he refuted the claims through his attorney.

Hill's attorney, Julius B. Collins, denied Vaccaro's claims in a statement. The Blast shared that he alleged the domestic violence accusations were part of an extortion scheme, noting his client's estranged wife, her mom, and probably her lawyer had orchestrated it to "shake Mr. Hill down."
Collins stressed that Hill would not be intimidated by their tactics, claiming the plaintiffs hoped he would agree to their terms if they ruined his reputation with their smear campaign. He added that Vaccaro wanted "an unreasonable and unwarranted amount of money," but they refused to give in to her demands.
"Mr. Hill will not be moved by this and awaits his day in Court to present his evidence," the attorney concluded. Collins' response followed Vaccaro's abuse allegations filing late last month.
She accused her estranged husband of repeatedly harassing her during their marriage, including while she was pregnant with their daughter.
Inside The Domestic Violence Allegations

In her filing, Vaccaro alleged that Hill became violent two months after they tied the knot in November 2023. She recalled the physical abuse started in early January 2024, claiming he attacked her while they were discussing a postnuptial agreement.
She noted the incident occurred at their guest house in Southwest Ranches, claiming Hill shoved her to the floor and stood over her before ripping off her necklace. Vaccaro stated that his actions caused a cut and a bruise.
Two weeks after the alleged incident, Vaccaro claimed Hill had a violent episode at an Orlando hotel. She noted he threw her to the floor, "twisting her intimate body parts, ripping her hair out, and grabbing anything on her person he could get a hold of."
The Alleged Victim Accused The NFL Player Of Manipulation

According to Vaccaro's abuse allegations, Hill violently attacked her on eight occasions. She emphasized that his actions were "extreme," "outrageous," and beyond human decency and conduct. Before labeling him a wife-beater, Vaccaro accused Hill of manipulation.
The Blast covered the story in May, reporting that Vaccaro sought legal intervention after Hill allegedly threatened to take their daughter to Los Angeles for the weekend. She noted the incident happened on May 1, noting he attempted to manipulate her with their daughter's safety.
Vaccaro described his actions as coercive, claiming he wanted to scare her out of pursuing her marital and child support rights. She added that he did not care about their daughter, noting he texted her later that he would bring the little girl home instead of fulfilling his threats.
Tyreek Hill Accused Of Being An Absent Father

Vaccaro claimed Hill was an absent father who prioritized his needs over their daughter's. She emphasized that he was unaware of key details about their child, such as her sleep schedule, preferred foods, and daily routines. On that note, she implored the court to set some rules in place to protect the little girl.
Her request included an order to stop Hill from taking their child out of Florida without permission or until a temporary custody ruling was made. Following the manipulation drama, Vaccaro's daughter made waves in August for a sudden health scare.
The Blast shared that Vaccaro broke the news on Instagram, revealing her daughter had shown concerning symptoms, from fever to feeling too sleepy. She immediately called their doctor, who sent them to the ER. Fortunately, the little girl recovered without further problems.
