The 30-second clip features Reese standing on a subway platform, reciting a powerful monologue as a train rushes by.
"Noise, headlines, hotshots," she says, as she looks up at a destination sign flashing words like "overrated" and phrases downplaying her on-court ability.
"They talk like they know me, like they built me," Reese said while stepping onto the busy metro. "But I board anyway."
The Chicago Sky star continued, "They call it the hate train, I call it the warm-up."
And Reese didn't stop there. The 23-year-old added, "Every stop, more opinions, more pressure, more reasons why I'm not supposed to be here. But I show up. Not for them, for the work."
"I don't ride the hate train. I drive it, and I own the tracks," she continued. "This is the Angel Reese 1 by Reebok," she concluded while the screen flashed a pair of her bright-pink colorway, also called "Mebounds."
The New Angel Reese Ad Means More Than One Might Think

According to a press release sent to The Blast, the new ad, "Fuel," pays homage to Reese's "boldness on and off the court and the resilience that has defined her journey," and is meant to symbolize how the LSU alum has navigated criticism throughout her career.
"Every comment, every doubt—it all fuels me on the court," said Reese. "At the same time, I draw energy from my teammates, my family, and everyone who believes in me. 'Fuel' is about rising above the negativity and turning it into strength."
Reese herself narrates the advertisement and also highlights Reebok's unwavering commitment to the sport by showcasing athletes who go against the norm. "' Fuel' is about embracing the noise, owning it, and turning it into power every time I step on the court," Reese concluded.
The 'Angel Reese 1' Launches September 18

According to a previous report from The Blast, Reese will launch three initial colorways of the "Angel Reese 1" with Reebok on September 18. The shoe draws inspiration from Reebok's Mobius line and also includes the company's signature Exoskeleton upper.
Reese opened up about how meaningful the moment was to her at the time, calling her sneaker "my stamp on the game."
Aside from the pink "Mebounds" colorway featured in the ad, two additional styles—the all-white "Diamond Dust" and the black-and-white "Receipts Ready"—will also be released.
"Reebok and I built something that's true to who I am, and I hope it pushed others to stand in their power, too," Reese, who fans have lovingly pegged the "Bayou Barbie," said. "At the end of the day, it's built for basketball — made to move and perform at the highest level."
What's So Special About Reese's New Shoe?

Reese's signature sneakers also come loaded with impressive performance technology, including Reebok's Energy Return System (ERS), which is placed in the heel and forefoot of the shoe to provide athletes with extra stability and flexibility.
The "Angel Reese 1" includes a TPU stability cup and high-abrasion rubber outsoles, delivering unparalleled traction and grip.
CEO and President at Reebok, Todd Krinsky, couldn't be more excited about the launch of Reese's signature sneaker, explaining that the shoe "marks the next chapter for Reebok Basketball, where performance meets personal style."
The $120 shoe perfectly combines Reese's "unique mix of elegance and strength," he said, adding, "Every element – from the molded overlays to the heritage-inspired traction – was made to celebrate Angel and how she is redefining what it means to be an athlete."
Reese Wants Her Shoe To Be Talked About Everywhere

Reese understands how monumental this moment is, calling it a "blessing" while emphasizing the importance of continuing to build her brand. The power forward, who just finished the 2025 WNBA season as the league's leading rebounder, detailed her high hopes for the new line during a previous interview, explaining how she wants to see the "AR1s" everywhere from the basketball court to the office.
"People are going to be wearing Reebok everywhere, just like how they wear Jordans everywhere. I want people to wear the Angel Reese 1s everywhere and just to be a household name, to have no limits on what I can do and what I can accomplish," she said.
