Sydney Sweeney's Plunging Braless Dress Unappreciated 'Aside From Her Chest'

Sydney Sweeney put on an eye-popping display on Sunday night as she rocked up to the 2025 Emmy Awards in a revealing dress. The Christy actress, who is fresh from promoting her boxing biopic at the Toronto International Film Festival, left little to the imagination in her plunging gown, going slinky and figure-hugging while choosing a bold shade of red. Knocking the competition sideways at the Sunday night event, Sydney sizzled in her floor-length, braless gown, where she opted for designer Oscar de la Renta. Fans did send Sydney love, but for some, her look wasn't it. One user felt that she'd missed the mark, although they couldn't help but compliment her famous curves.

Looking every inch the Hollywood starlet, Sydney displayed her fierce cleavage in a strapless, satin gown with a knotted, large bow neckline that accentuated her braless assets. The White Lotus star, who recently celebrated her 28th birthday, also flaunted her killer waistline, but she concealed her toned legs while letting her dress's fabrics fall to the floor.

Adding a matching shawl, which she draped around her arms, Sydney injected red carpet flourishes from a train, likely wearing heels beneath her dress.

The Armani Beauty ambassador glammed up with diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewels, opting for a statement necklace and rings while wearing her soft-waved hair around her shoulders. Adding plenty of matte makeup complete with blush, Sydney dazzled at L.A.'s Peacock Theater, where stars including actresses Jenna Ortega and Scarlett Johansson, plus No Country For Old Men star Javier Bardem, joined her.

Sydney has made a string of red carpet appearances lately, notably at the TIFF, where she showed off a plunging pink gown and a black one while promoting her Christyflick.

It's been over five weeks since Sydney Sweeney made global headlines for her controversial American Eagle ad, in which she says she has "good genes." The internet was horrified at the statement being made by a blonde, white woman with blue eyes, although Sydney herself has stated she won't discuss the backlash.

Speaking to Vanity Fair ahead of the TIFF, she said: "I am there to support my movie and the people involved in making it, and I’m not there to talk about jeans. The movie’s about Christy, and that’s what I’ll be there to talk about."
