Sydney Sweeney In Stringy Bikini Told To ‘Focus On Her Grind’

Pop star Sydney Sweeney seems to be enjoying the single life, despite the controversy caused by her American Eagle jeans ad. The “good jeans” slogan was criticized for subtly promoting eugenics and racist undertones. Although the “Euphoria” star has yet to comment on that, she has spoken up about her split from businessman Jonathan Davino. They started dating in 2018 but went their separate way in 2022 due to “major issues” in their relationship. Some fans said that it's hard to be in a relationship with a "goddess," while other followers praised her for her "career era."

Scroll for the photo. In an interview with The Times shared back in May, Sydney explained that they broke up three years after they got engaged, but didn’t seem to mind all that much. “I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” the actress shared.

 An insider told Peoplemagazine that, “She's exactly where she wants to be,” adding, “Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”

One fan used that last quote in a caption of a photo of Sydney posing for Frankie’s Bikinis. In the photo, she can be seen reclining on a plush couch, wearing a lime green drawstring bikini with fringe lace lining the triangular cups.

She paired the look with white lace stockings, an unusual look to add to a bikini, as well as a large jeweled cross that hung around her chest. Taking things a step further, she embellished her look with a glittering silver collar and large hoop earrings.

Although one fan called her a “butterface,” other followers commented on her single status, like one fan who said that her “Career era in full swing.” Another follower added, “It’s gotta be incredibly difficult to be the significant other of a real-life goddess.”

“Sydney's gotta focus on her grind. With all the buzz around her projects, she’s showing that self-love and ambition can go hand in hand. Makes sense to prioritize your dreams over anything else fr,” another fan gushed. Another added, “I've noticed Sydney's got that hustle vibe on lock... While most would crumble under pressure, she’s thriving. Super excited to see her shine in all these upcoming projects. Total queen move.”

Even though her American Eagle ad campaign controversy has dominated headlines, that wasn't the only controversial ad that Sydney was involved in this year. Back in May, she partnered up with Dr. Squatch in order to sell 5,000 bars of soap that contained drops of her own bathwater.

Fans had mixed reactions to the decision, with one fan writing, “No shade that sounds like something an OnlyFans girl would do… you’re one of the most promising young actresses of your generation, act like it."
