Viva Las Vegas!
Despite dipping tourism numbers suggesting Las Vegas is losing its shine, the city proved otherwise on Saturday night, with packed restaurants, buzzing nightlife, and electric energy that shows Vegas is far from dead. And while yes, the big fight - Canelo vs. Crawford - brought extra people into the city, the Strip was booming during the fight.
I spent Saturday night out in Vegas enjoying dining, nightlife, and even some tourist sightseeing (because no matter how long I live here, I'll always love this city in an awe-inspiring touristy way). And before you say, "locals typically don't hang out on the Strip," I'm different. I love the bustling city vibes and excitement that only the Strip can provide.
A Delicious Start To Saturday Night In Vegas At Blue Ribbon American Grill & Oyster Bar

We started our night out with dinner at Blue Ribbon American Grill & Oyster Bar inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. If you've never been inside The Cosmopolitan, it's something you must experience yourself to fully understand the electric vibe.
To get to Blue Ribbon, we had to walk through much of the resort, which gave us some time to take it all in. There were tons of people gambling, taking pictures, enjoying cocktails, and so much laughter. The lobby stopped us in our tracks (IYKYK about the sexy video columns) and we stood there a few minutes just trying to figure out what was going on.
Once at Blue Ribbon, we were seated in a cozy booth in the back of the restaurant. The ambiance was pure perfection with low lighting and the sounds of people enjoying their meals.
We Enjoyed A Variety Of Dishes At Blue Ribbon
While we were perusing the menu and trying to decide what we wanted to start with, we thought margaritas were always a good choice. Shortly after we started sipping our delicious margaritas, the cheese fondue came out. You get a plate full of bread chunks, breadsticks, apple slices, and an oversized potato skin with bacon on the side. So much cheesy goodness, and a great start to our meal.
We also started out with deviled eggs with a fried oyster on top. Another delicious option!
For our meals, we shared three different dishes - Baked Lobster, Ox Burger, and Crab Stuffed Sea Bass. My favorite - the Baked Lobster - but everything was equally delicious!
And although we were stuffed, our amazing waiter talked us into ending our experience with dessert, a tasty butter cake.
The menu offers a wide variety of options to please everyone's tastebuds. Whether you're a seafood lover, prefer a perfectly cooked steak, or want a little of both, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Then We Went Next Door To The Bellagio To Check Out The Fall Themed Conservatory Display

We decided to go check out the Bellagio Conservatory after dinner since they just changed the theme from summer to fall, and it didn't disappoint.
Filled with vibrant fall colors and scenes, this 14,000-square-foot botanical garden next to the Bellagio lobby, is the perfect spot to take selfies and scenery photos.
On September 12, the "Fall Harvest" display opened, and it will run through November 8. Then it will be time to swap it all out with a holiday theme.
When In Vegas - A Visit To The Fountains Of Bellagio Is A Must

When visiting Vegas, a stop at the Fountains of Bellagio is always a great choice, even if you've seen it a million times. This free, choreographed water show is a Vegas showstopper. No matter what you're doing on the Strip or where you're at, at some point you're bound to pass by the Bellagio, so it's the perfect place to stop and rest your feet while taking in the sights.
The water dances to a wide variety of music. From classical to pop to even show tunes, visitors will get a different show each time.
There are many great spots to stop and watch the show, so you don't have to be right in front of it to enjoy it. We watched it from the walkway from the Strip to the Bellagio (up at the top of the escalator) which gave us a different view than the usual.
Last Stop Of The Night - VooDoo Lounge At The Rio

One of the BEST views of the entire city is at VooDoo Lounge at Rio Hotel & Casino.
The 360-degree view from the rooftop literally takes your breath away. You can see everything - all the way to the Downtown area in one direction, Allegiant Arena and South end of the Strip in the other, and all the areas around the city.
There's no better place to take amazing videos of the entire city from one location. And did we mention the drinks at VooDoo are DELISH? So grab a drink at the bar, find a spot outside on the rooftop, and just relax with the most amazing view of Sin City! The perfect end to a fun night out in Vegas!
