Charlie Shot And Killed On College Campus In Utah

According to a previous report from The Blast, Charlie was shot during a speaking event on the campus of Utah Valley University.
Graphic videos circulating on social media show the horrifying moment when Charlie was hit with a bullet mid-sentence, sending everyone around him into a frenzy.
A university official explained that the shooter was positioned atop a nearby building, approximately 200 yards from where Charlie was speaking. He was "2o minutes into his presentation" before he was shot.
Charlie built a massive online following on Instagram and YouTube, often posting clips of himself debating with people about pressing topics, including LGBTQ+ rights, women's issues, and marriage.
A witness explained how surprised they were to learn that Charlie's event on UVU's campus had hardly any security presence. "I was expecting when I got here that I'd have to pass through some kind of security, but that just wasn't a thing," Tyler McGettigan said. "No one checked the barcode or the QR code. There was no checkpoint to get in. It was literally anyone could walk in if they wanted."

“We wanted so badly to do this show for all of you today,” Andrew Kolvet said. “Here we are because Charlie would want us to be here. He would be upset if we weren’t here. And of course, we have left his chair open and empty because no one will ever fill it, nobody could ever hope to.”
