Charlie Kirk's suspected murderer already has a plethora of charges in front of him!
The suspected killer of the conservative activist has been booked on several weighty charges with possibilities of very lengthy jail terms or even as extreme as the death penalty.
Charlie Kirk was killed after a shooter fired a gun in his direction while engaging in a discussion at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
Charlie Kirk's Murder Suspect Facing Multiple State Charges

The suspect, Tyler Robinson, will reportedly have his day in court on September 16, 2025, around noon, immediately after Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray files his charges the same day.
Robinson was taken into custody and eventually booked on charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.
The charges are reportedly all state charges likely to attract the death penalty, which is also a legal punishment in the state of Utah, where the shooting occurred.
As confirmed by the Utah governor, Spencer Cox, Robinson was turned in to the authorities by his father after he suspected his son might have pulled the trigger.
The shooter's family reportedly recalled the 22-year-old shooter bringing up Kirk's campus visit, which was part of his tour, during the family dinner. Per TMZ, Robinson's family noted that he described Kirk as someone full of hate at the dinner, which could have fueled his rage.
The Bullet Casings Recovered Had Bizarre Markings
🚨 KIRK ASSASSIN’S BULLETS ENGRAVED WITH INTERNET MEMES
Law enforcement say Tyler Robinson’s rifle casings were scratched with bizarre “inside jokes” from 4Chan, Discord, and Reddit.
Among them:
- “Notices bulges. OwO what’s this?” A "furry" roleplay copypasta.

Robinson's thought process before the shooting was a bit observed following the controversial markings on the bullet casings recovered from the scene.
Sources claim the suspected shooter had taken aserious interest in politics over the years and was not discreet about his lack of admiration for Kirk's extreme views.
The bullet casings recovered were reportedly both fired and unfired, which bore several catchphrases. As reported by The Blast, one casing, which was fired, had this inscription on it that read, "notices bulges OWO what's this?"
The three other unfired bullet casings came with several inscriptions such as "Hey fascist! catch!" followed by arrow symbols, "oh bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao ciao ciao," and "if you read this you are gay lmao."
Robinson's father and a local minister decided to hand him over to the authorities after his pictures went viral, with the police calling for his arrest.

Since news of his passing hit the news, several theories have emerged on what could have led to his murder.
While some internet users believed his extremist views on gun control, abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and several other controversial issues could have triggered it, some fingers point towards a different direction.
Hours before her husband's death, Kirk's wife, Erika Frantzve, seemingly shared a very poignant post on her X profile. The Bible verse, now debated by internet users as a shocking premonition of her spouse's death, read, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Frantzve and Kirk got married four years ago in 2021 and have since welcomed a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. She was a former beauty pageant queen and a philanthropist who founded the Everyday Heroes Like You charity.
Kirk's Last Dialogue Before The Shooting

Kirk was in the middle of a Q&A session of his campus tour at Utah when the bullet pierced through his neck and knocked him unconscious.
The Blast shared that details of his last conversation with a curious attendee had him going back and forth over mass shootings and gang violence in America with one Hunter Kozak.
Kozak, who had been schooled at the university, broke his silence after Kirk's death was confirmed, and noted that he had attended the event to challenge Kirk over his comments weeks earlier.
He added that he looked forward to engaging Kirk over his statement on the "suspected Minneapolis school suspect," and his scheduled appearance at the university afforded him that perfect chance.
In an Instagram clip reacting to the shooting, Kozak acknowledged that it was a bit daunting to know that he was the last person to interact with Kirk before his tragic death.
Charlie Kirk Was Reportedly In Uplifted Spirits For The Start Of His Tour

The father-of-two reportedly did not raise safety concerns at any time of the day as he prepared to kick off his campus tour; the first leg, where he met his shocking death.
The activist reportedly traveled with a small security detail to escort him from place to place, yet he did not make plans for an attack of this magnitude.
In a tribute message from his team on social media, Kirk was tagged as a martyr who died defending and exhibiting his rights to freedom of speech as entrenched in the constitution.
His team emphasized that while threats were not new to him, he wore his desire to reach as many young Americans as possible over his personal safety.
