Angel Reese Admits She's 'Thrilled' Drama-Filled Second Year In The WNBA Has Come To An End

Angel Reese seems ecstatic that her second year in the WNBA has finally come to an end. In a new TikTok video, Reese, 23, can be seen showing off her flashy courtside outfit while also sharing her feelings about the end of the Chicago Sky's lackluster season. Her statements come just a week after the power forward sparked chaos in the WNBA fandom with her blunt critique of her team, but her latest post resonated deeply with fans, who flooded her comments with love and support.

Before every Chicago Sky game, Reese is known for filming a video showing off her extravagant tunnel outfits in cheeky clips she calls "OOTDs," or "Outfit of the Day."

In her latest video, filmed before the Sky's final regular-season game against the New York Liberty, Reese showed off her monochromatic all-brown look, which featured sky-high leather boots, brown leggings, a crop top, a flowy brown jacket, and expensive-looking brown sunglasses.

After showing off her fit, Reese spoke briefly about the end of her second year in the WNBA, admitting she was "so, so thrilled year two is over."

While Reese may not have been implying anything specific, the timing of her comments is noteworthy, as she has been the center of a team-related controversy for nearly two weeks.

For those unfamiliar, during a team-mandated media interview, Reese spoke about the Sky's disappointing season and how important it is to attract top-tier talent during the offseason.

“I am very vocal about what we need and what I want. I’d like to be here for my career, but if things don’t pan out, obviously I might have to move in a different direction and do what’s best for me," she said.

“We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a non-negotiable for me. I’m willing and wanting to play with the best. And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason," Reese said.

Shortly after the interview went live, Reese's comments became a major talking point, sparking thinkpieces and intense conversation across WNBA spaces.

Things got even messier after the Chicago Sky announced the team's leadership board decided to suspend Reese for the first half of their contest against the Las Vegas Aces on September 7, 2025.
