Investigators have revealed chilling new details about the ammunition used in the fatal shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Authorities say 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter who is now in custody, had inscribed strange and politically charged messages on bullet casings linked to the September 10 assassination at Utah Valley University. Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed that investigators recovered both fired and unfired bullet casings from Robinson's high-powered rifle. The casings bore a mix of cryptic, mocking, and overtly political inscriptions.

One casing that had been fired read, "notices bulges OWO what's this?"

Three others were discovered unfired. "Hey fascist! catch!" followed by arrow symbols; "oh bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao ciao ciao"," seemingly referencing an Italian anti-fascist song; and "if you read this you are gay lmao."

Robinson, who had reportedly grown "more political" in recent years and expressed disdain for Kirk's views, was identified as the suspect following a manhunt. Authorities say his father and a local minister turned him in after police circulated images of the shooter. The arrest followed a public plea from Governor Cox, who urged Utahns to help identify the gunman responsible for the shocking campus assassination.

In the wake of his assassination, Charlie Kirk's team at Turning Point USA shared a moving statement honoring the 31-year-old activist's life and work. Posted on TikTok, the joint message described the staff as "crushed and devastated by the hateful murder" of their founder.

"Charlie was no stranger to threats. He received thousands throughout his life. But he always prioritized reaching as many young Americans as possible over his own personal safety," the team wrote before going on to call Kirk "America's greatest martyr to the freedom of speech he so adored," reflecting the depth of his commitment to amplifying young conservative voices.
