China McClain Is A 'Classic Beauty'

Wearing her natural hair as a crown, China McClain sat by the pool with her feet submerged in the water, looking slightly up as the sun kissed her skin, giving an irrefutable glow. She was "an example of black beauty at its finest."

In the 10-slides post, McClain donned a soft peachy-pink crop top with wide shoulder straps and a ruffle along the neckline. The crop top had a daring cut at the center, where the fabric parted open along the bust, leaving the middle of the chest exposed.

She paired it with high-waisted shorts in a cream base, with small floral designs in peach pastel shades scattered across it to match the crop top.

McClain posed near flower shrubs in subsequent slides, with a mix of close-up and half-length shots. "Needs to be in museums," a fan commented in admiration.

The McClain Sisters

China McClain was raised in a creative family with their father, Michael McClain, being a music producer and their mother, Shontell McClain, a songwriter and screenwriter.

It was no surprise that she and her two sisters, Sierra and Lauryn McClain, formed a girl group as children, called "3McClainGirls."

They rebranded as the "McClain Sisters" in 2010 during China McClain's breakout on Disney's "A.N.T. Farm." The sisters signed with Hollywood Records in 2011, releasing their debut single "Go" in 2012.

They rebranded again over the years before choosing "thrii," which is what they are known as now. Fans have been calling for a full album, but no major releases have been announced yet.

China McClain On Exposing Hollywood

Disney and music aren't the only things that China McClain's known for. She also went viral for a 2021 TikTok video talking about spiritual elements in the entertainment industry. "I'm not going to sacrifice the honesty in order to be politically correct," she said.

The video was reposted by multiple creators and sparked mixed reactions. Some supported her and prayed for protection, while others criticized her. In another video, she insisted she was doing "God's work now," and fans believed she was moving away from the industry.

But she was in the new Descendants movie, "Descendants: The Rise of Red," which premiered on Disney+ in July 2024. She also appeared with her sisters in a viral dance video to Doechii's "Anxiety," which raised eyebrows over song choice.
