Khloé Kardashian has joined the growing number of celebrities reacting to Charlie Kirk's tragic passing. 

"The Kardashians" star sparked mixed responses from fans after mourning the late conservative commentator's death. Some hailed her for her positive reaction to his demise, while others slammed her for supporting the controversial public figure.

Charlie Kirk took his final breath at 31, after he was fatally shot in the neck. The incident happened on Wednesday, September 10, at Utah Valley University, the first stop on his American Comeback Tour.

Khloé responded to Kirk's passing on her Instagram Story, reposting a message about humanity's concerning numbness to tragic situations. The post, shared initially by Dr. Raymond Nichols, captured an unbiased take on violence in America.

Dr. Nichols referenced the reactions to Kirk's shooting, stressing that humans were not designed "to witness someone's final breath... and then laugh at a TikTok." He explained that his message wasn't about politics, but the humanity people were losing each day.

"This is trauma. This is spiritual damage. We're overstimulated, under-connected, and completely shut down inside. We're seeing everything and feeling nothing. And that should break your heart," Dr. Nichols penned. His words resonated with Khloé, who reposted it alongside Jelly Roll's "I Am Not Okay" song.

Since fans could not comment on Khloé's IG Story, they shared their love for her on one of her old posts. Four days ago, she shared a picture of herself making a duck face, but new commenters focused on her reaction to Kirk's passing.

"You are a great soul. For being a celebrity and speaking out on what's happening in the world, I applaud you," someone penned. Another echoed similar sentiments, writing:

"Thank you for the amazing story you posted after what happened to Charlie Kirk. I wish a lot more people were human enough to do that."

A third claimed Khloé's response to Kirk's death proved she was not racist, while a fellow supporter hailed her as someone they aspired to be. "I just want to love and be kind the way she is," the IG user declared. The love continued, with a fan thanking Khloé for acknowledging Kirk's passing.

Although Khloé received love on Instagram, not everyone was pleased with her reaction to Kirk's death. Internet sleuths noticed she liked a post about the right-wing activist, where he spoke about his Christian faith.

She also dropped three prayer hand emojis in the comments, which critics reposted alongside her IG Story post on Reddit. The Daily Mail covered the heated responses to Khloé's support, noting many slammed her for supporting an alleged "white supremacist."

Many were disappointed in Khloé, especially as a mother of mixed children, reminding her of Kirk's controversial takes on the Black community. Others condemned her for caring more about his status as a Christian rather than the type of person Kirk was.

The criticisms against Kirk stemmed from his controversial stance, including his well-known support for the Second Amendment. He sparked outrage in 2023 when he defended the right to bear arms amid the rise of gun violence in schools.

While speaking at the Salt Lake City campus of Awaken Church on April 5, 2023, Kirk said that it was "nonsense" and "drivel" to believe people could live in a society with armed citizenry without a single gun death. He argued that some deaths were necessary, saying:

"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."

Kirk's passing sparked various theories and speculations about the shooter, with a veteran sniper sharing his thoughts on what he believed happened. The Blast shared that Sergeant Nicholas Ranstad, who once set a U.S. record with a 6,778-foot kill in Afghanistan, claimed the suspect wasn't trained.

Ranstad explained that anyone with little experience at a shooting range could have made the shot that killed Kirk, noting the suspect made a critical mistake. The veteran sniper believed the shooter was aiming for Kirk's head, but missed because they did not consider the wind's impact.

Additionally, he dismissed the widespread narrative that the shooter used an AR-15 to kill Kirk. Ranstad claimed that after carefully studying the footage of the shooting, he believed the weapon used was either a .308 bolt action or a 7.62 caliber weapon based on the sound.
