Vegas Turns Up: Watch Party Brings Aces Fans Together For Final Regular Season Game

Las Vegas Aces fans were ALL IN on Thursday night for a high energy watch party to close out the regular season.

Hundreds of diehard fans came together at Atomic Golf to catch the last regular season game against the Los Angeles Sparks. Fans cheered on the Aces while watching the game on the big screen and enjoying some fun during commercials and at halftime with hosts CJ and Joe, the Wild Card Dancers, and mascot Buckets.

The last regular season home game for the Aces was held in Los Angeles, but that didn't stop fans from coming together to cheer on their team!

Hundreds filled Atomic Golf on Thursday night to watch the Aces take on the Sparks, enjoy a delicious event menu, drinks, games with hosts CJ and Joe, photo ops with mascot Buckets, and just take it all in for the last 2025 regular season game.

The free admission event brought in fans of all ages to enjoy the game and comradery with other Aces fans before going into the highly anticipated playoff season. T-shirt tosses, trivia, dance contests, and lots of the usual chants and routines they enjoy at home games happened during the watch party.

Tawny Fields of Las Vegas has been an Aces fan for five years. She attends as many home games as she can and has even traveled to see the Aces play in other arenas.

She told The Blast that early in the season, she was pretty "stressed out," but things changed quickly.

"They had me stressed out," she said. "I think that a-s whooping they got from Minnesota, A'ja said, 'If you weren't embarrassed, don't come to the gym' and that changed everything. They haven't lost since then."

She also said that Wilson is her favorite player, and she just knows she's going to be named MVP this season and if she's not, she said, "we're gonna raise hell."

Jesse Lewis, also a Vegas resident, attends all the home games as a season ticket holder, and said his favorite player is also Wilson. He shared his thoughts on how the season progressed.

"It started off really slow, really unpredictable. We were getting new players, we were losing players, but now we have a solid team," he told The Blast. "We've got the best bench that we've ever had in history."

He added that he feels the team is "100 percent better" than the last championship, so he's looking for another championship this year. And on the topic of Wilson being MVP, he said, "give her her props right now."

"A'ja has to have MVP," he continued. "We know she deserves MVP."

The Aces capped off their regular season in style Thursday night, notching their 16th straight win with a commanding 103-75 victory. It was a dominant performance that sent them into the playoffs on a high note.

The Aces finished the game with 22 three-pointers, the most in a WNBA regular-season game. They set the record of 23 three-pointers in the playoffs in 2022.

Jackie Young scored 17 points and 12 assists and became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 3,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 1,000 assists (in 243 games).

Wilson added another stellar stat line with 23 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals. Chelsea Gray finished with 15 points and 10 assists, and Jewell Loyd added 21 points.

Now that the regular season is complete, it's time to move into the quarterfinals/first round of the playoffs.

The first playoff game hosted by the Aces is Sunday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. at Michelob ULTRA Arena. If necessary, Game 3 will be played either Sept. 18 or 19. (This round is a best-of-three series.) The Aces will be going up against the Seattle Storm.
