A wedding might soon be in the picture for JoJo Siwa and her new flame, Chris Hughes.
Siwa recently gushed about her romantic relationship with Hughes, saying she now considers the possibility of a ceremonious happily-ever-after with him, a step she hadn’t thought of before.
The couple met in April on season 24 of "Celebrity Big Brother UK." Their relationship started as a platonic friendship but soon blossomed into a full-blown romance with undeniable sparks.
JoJo Siwa Is ‘Happy’ In Her Relationship With Chris Hughes

Siwa was recently featured in an episode of the “Reign With Josh Smith” podcast. During the discussion, she opened up about feeling satisfied in her relationship with Hughes at the moment.
“I'm happy. I've never wanted the future so bad. I've never, ever wanted the love that I have to just continue to grow,” the “Dance Moms” star said.
Siwa revealed that she has never been the type to “crave” a wedding. While getting married was not altogether off the books for her, she always pictured going to Vegas or signing a “piece of paper” without the dramatics of a huge ceremony.
However, there has now been a monumental shift in the 22-year-old celebrity’s desires.
“Now I'm like, ‘No, I want a ring and I want my Dad to walk me down the aisle and I want a first dance and I want butterflies,’” she said, gushing.
In June, the American singer confirmed that her relationship with Hughes was not “platonic anymore.” She called it a "beautiful development” and said she was “head over heels” for him, just like he is for her.
Siwa Opened Up About Facing Backlash For Her Romantic Choices

Although Siwa revealed that she feels “very loved” and is in a “great place” with Hughes, the romance hasn't come without backlash for her choices. Before dating the sports presenter, Siwa came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, primarily dating women.
The actress noted that the situation with Hughes was difficult for her because it felt like her “family” had turned “a little bit.” She also defended her choice to date him, saying that being heterosexual does not discredit her past.
Siwa doubled down on the acknowledgement of hate she has received, telling The Guardian the public now reacts differently towards her. Instead of adoring her like they used to, people now “laugh,” “point,” and “roll their eyes” at her.
Despite it all, the “Hold The Drama” singer maintains the stance that the “brutal hate” and bullying will not change her feelings towards Hughes. She also added that she is strong enough to take the hate, but gave a word of caution, saying that other people may not be strong enough to take it.
“I think older people in the community need to realize the way that you treat me in this situation doesn't affect me, I promise, at all. I'm very happy. I'm very loved. I give a lot of love. I'm feeling very loved. I am in a great place,” she said.
