Scott Wolf's messy split from his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, just hit another snag in court.
The actor's request for a restraining order has been put on pause because Kelley showed up without legal representation, delaying the judge's decision.
Scott Wolf initially sought protection on August 26, shortly after Kelley was arrested for posting his phone number online.
Scott Wolf's Temporary Protective Order Against Estranged Wife Remains In Place

Scott's legal battle with his estranged wife has been stalled after a Utah judge declined to move forward on a permanent restraining order.
The 57-year-old appeared in court on September 10 with his attorney, Bart Johnson. Kelley was also present, but the proceedings hit a wall when she showed up without legal counsel.
The judge told Kelley she must have her lawyer formally notify the court that they are representing her before the case can proceed. Once confirmed, Scott "will be directed by the court to send money directly to that attorney to pay for Kelley's retainer for the lawyer."
US Magazine noted that for now, the existing temporary order remains in effect while the case sits in limbo.

The 48-year-old's promise to get sober is already under scrutiny after a troubling scene unfolded in Utah just days earlier.
The Blast shared details from a police report that described deputies being called to an Airbnb in Peoa on Labor Day to remove a woman who had overstayed her booking, identified by sources as Kelley.
When officers arrived, they discovered the home in chaos, with piles of alcohol, food, decorations, and personal items scattered throughout. Deputies noted Kelley was cooperative but visibly distracted.
In their own words, she "struggled to follow directions and stayed focused on the task of moving her items out of the home." Officers finally guided her to move her items outside and made sure she could not re-enter.
The 'Party Of Five' Actor's Phone Number Leak Ends In Estranged Wife's Arrest

The former pair's legal drama escalated further after Kelley took her frustrations public in a way that quickly crossed the line. The Blast reported that she posted Scott's phone number online, exposing him to a flood of messages and unwanted contact.
A police officer who happened to be with Scott in Park City, Utah, witnessed the barrage of texts firsthand. Curious, he checked Kelley's social media and found the number displayed for all to see, paired with her caption, "Let's let dimples field his own press?"
That discovery was enough for officers to make a move. They went to Kelley's home in Peoa, Utah, where she was arrested and charged with electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information.
The Father-Of-Three Secured Custody Win While Their Mother Got Limited Contact

Scott scored a big win in his custody battle with Kelley, and the outcome sheds light on the tense family situation that has been unfolding.
Court documents show that Scott will continue with temporary sole physical custody of their three children, Jackson, Miller, and Lucy. Meanwhile, Kelley's access has been significantly reduced.
The ruling grants her only three supervised phone or video calls with the kids each week, and she must stick to reasonable hours when making those calls. She can answer if the children reach out beyond that, but the order makes clear her time is strictly limited.
The outlet highlighted that Kelley was also instructed to stay away from the family's former Park City home, giving Scott full use of the property unless a supervisor agrees otherwise. The court also added an important safeguard, ordering therapy for the kids, independent of either parent's influence.
Scott Wolf Pushed Back Against False Allegations From Kelley

Before the custody ruling and the leaked phone number incident, Scott had already been pushing back, saying he knew about Kelley's plans to spread false accusations against him.
The Blast noted that the TV personality became aware of Kelley's plan to accuse him of "psychological abuse, child abuse, child endangerment, stealing with passports."
He pointed to text messages where she openly described her intention to make those claims. Kelley eventually followed through with a 911 call on July 26, which was reportedly meant to sway both the courtroom and public opinion.
For now, all eyes are on the next hearing to see if Scott Wolf's protective order will finally move forward or stay caught in delay.
