Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion tied the knot at Idaho's Gozzer Ranch after nearly a decade together, celebrating with family, including Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt.
However, absent from the guest list was Joseph Baena, Arnold's son with Mildred Peña, who instead shared summer highlights on Instagram with his girlfriend, model Mel Randel.
This is not the first time the divide in the family has been noticed, as Joseph Baena was also left out of a group photo with Arnold Schwarzenegger and his other half-siblings at the actor's event.
Why Joseph Baena Was Absent From Patrick Schwarzenegger's Wedding

According to TMZ, Joseph Baena was nowhere to be seen at Patrick Schwarzenegger's wedding to Abby Champion in northern Idaho, and that's because he wasn't on the guest list.
Sources close to the situation say Baena, who shares no real bond with Patrick or his siblings, was never invited. The exclusion isn't shocking, considering the complicated family history.
Baena is the son Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered during an affair with the family's longtime housekeeper, Mildred Peña, a secret that became public in 2010 when Baena was 13.
Though Arnold has made efforts to be present in Baena's life, attending his graduation and celebrating milestones, the two sides of the family have remained separate.
Patrick Schwarzenegger Once Made An Effort To Connect With Joseph Baena, But The Half-Siblings Remain Distant

The divide among Arnold's children was evident earlier this year at the Los Angeles premiere of Arnold's Netflix series "Fubar."
A family photo featured Katherine, Christina, Patrick, Christopher, and even Chris Pratt, but not Baena. Later, however, Arnold posed separately with his look-alike son on the red carpet.
Unlike Baena's other half-siblings, Patrick made an effort to connect with his half-brother, as evidenced by their 2021 workout session together. However, nothing seems to have come of that ever since.
Katherine, Christina, and Christopher, on the other hand, have reportedly made no attempts to connect with their youngest sibling.
According to Page Six, Baena is "very close" to his dad, Arnold, but the same can not be said for the rest of the family.
A source told the news outlet that "the other kids don't love Joe," hinting that the resentment over the movie star's affair has unfortunately been aimed at Baena.
"The other kids take [the affair] out on Joe," the source claimed.
Patrick Schwarzenegger And Abby Champion Say' I Do' in Elegant Idaho Ceremony

Patrick and Champion tied the knot in a stunning afternoon ceremony at the exclusive Gozzer Ranch Country Club in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The couple exchanged vows on a bluff overlooking the scenic Lake Coeur d'Alene, surrounded by family and close friends.
Abby looked radiant in a romantic, sleeveless cream gown with a full skirt and flowing veil, while Patrick complemented her in a sharp cream tuxedo paired with classic black trousers.
The celebration brought together both families, including Patrick's father, Arnold, who looked stylish in a navy blue suit, and his mother, Maria Shriver, who glowed in a blush pink dress. Abby's parents, Greg and Laura, were also present, with Laura donning an elegant lilac gown.
The guest list included familiar faces such as Patrick's sister Katherine and her husband, actor Chris Pratt, along with Abby's sister, model Baskin Champion.
Throughout the evening, the bride and groom were all smiles, mingling with guests and enjoying their first hours as husband and wife.

Patrick Schwarzenegger And Abby Champion's Nearly Decade-Long Love Story

Patrick and Abby's love story began back in 2015, and after nearly a decade together, they made things official with their wedding in Idaho.
The couple first announced their engagement in December 2023 through a joint Instagram post captioned, "FOREVER AND EVER."
Patrick later revealed that their wedding plans had been slightly delayed due to his career.
During an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show" in May, the actor explained that just days after their engagement, he landed the role of Saxon Ratliff in season three of HBO's "The White Lotus."
"Finally, a year and a half ago, we got engaged. And it was our moment; it was this great thing," Patrick recalled, per the Daily Mail. "And a few days later, I booked White Lotus, and I was like, 'Abby, I know we're in this high of engagement, and we're gonna get married this year. But we're going to have to push it. I got White Lotus, and I'm going to film for the next seven months in Thailand."
Fortunately, Abby was nothing but supportive. A longtime fan of the series, she was thrilled for Patrick's opportunity.
"She was so happy. She was ecstatic because she was a huge fan," he said.

Meanwhile, Baena is soaking up every bit of summer and sharing it with fans. The 27-year-old recently posted a photo dump on Instagram, kicking things off with a cozy snap alongside his girlfriend, Dutch model Mel Randel.
In the picture, Randel hugs Baena from behind as they pose on a pier with the ocean in the background.
The two looked smitten, with Randel later commenting, "Every day with you is like Labor Day weekend."
Baena's gallery also featured a mix of solo highlights: hitting the gym with friends, flexing like his famous dad, and even catching waves while surfing. He captioned the post, "The in between days," giving followers a peek into his fun-filled summer.
Baena and Randel have been together for more than two years, during which they've traveled the world, made appearances at events like the Golden Globes, and even joined Arnold for family time, including a trip to Canada last summer.
