Jennifer Lopez garnered mixed feedback for her Capri, Italy photos back in 2023. Enjoying a spot of retail therapy in the swanky resort town two summers ago, the singer showed off her chic sense of style, dressing for the beach and the town as she stripped to a string bikini and lightweight pants look. Displaying her incredible figure, Jen looked confident during her solo outing, although some fans wondered if she was happy. Others asked where then-husband Ben Affleck was. The former couple, who tied the knot in 2022, dominated the news with split rumors last summer, then made their divorce official in October 2024.

Adding gold accents from a hoop bust detail, the Atlasstar highlighted her washboard abs while in cream slacks, adding an embellished, tight open jacket with a long cardigan feel. Sending out glam vibes in her sweeping look, Jen added height to her frame with a heeled pair of wedges, completing her look with a hat, plus statement shades.

Slinging a woven beige tote over one shoulder, Jen sported lightweight makeup, but nobody was discussing her cosmetics in the comments. The photos were shared on Instagram by celebrity news site Just Jared.

"Mamaa, Jlo what do you do with this European heat?" one fan asked. "That look of hers is too played out, she definitely can do better," another wrote. A third commented that the pop sensation looked "sad." Jen went on to make much bigger headlines for her Italy swimsuit action in the summer of 2024, when she abandoned estranged husband Ben for a solo trip and took selfies of her backside while in a swimsuit.

Jennifer Lopez didn't look unhappy at all in this footage, with her high-profile Italy outing including a boat day, selfie action, plus the star showing off her killer body in a white bathing suit and heels. Strutting around on land before embarking on her boat ride, Jen shocked the world with her selfies, with some fans calling her an attention seeker.

"He is missing on a very crazy narcissist person wow," one user remarked. "The only person out there wearing heels a boat... can't get the ghetto out of her," another said.

Jen has since opened up to reveal that her divorce process was, indeed, "lonely." She spoke to Interview Mag in the fall of last year, finally breaking her silence on the collapse of her fourth marriage.

"It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, “These things are not going to kill me,” it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself," Jennifer Lopez revealed.
