The actress, who refused to discuss her August American Eagle drama while attending the TIFF premiere of her new Christy movie last weekend, displayed her figure in a plunging black dress for her movie's After-Party on Saturday night, and comments were definitely mixed. While some sent Sydney love, others threw shade every which way possible. Sydney, 27, was hated on for her "Sydney has good jeans" campaign, with the user using their "low-hanging fruit" comment likely referencing her controversial ad. Others, meanwhile, trashed the blonde for her "fake" extensions.

Showing a little less skin than in her heaving, satin, corseted gown, The White Lotus star nonetheless flashed her famous cleavage in a sweeping black dress, going semi-sheer at the chest as her revealing neckline highlighted her braless assets.

Going fitted with a tight bodice showcasing her enviable waistline, Sydney braved a cleavage flash in her sleeveless look, with the photos showing her outdoors, smiling, and lifting her skirt a little as she tried to make her fashionable look practical. Peeping her black heels while concealing her toned legs, Sydney kept glam with her bombshell blonde locks styled into soft waves, completing her look with a glowing face of sunkissed makeup. The A-lister also donned pops of green from her ring jewelry, adding a pale pink manicure for some color.

American Eagle faced allegations of racism and white supremacy at the end of July, when Sydney showed off her blonde hair and blue eyes while saying that she has "good genes." The internet exploded over the ad not being inclusive, although American Eagle refused to back down as it defended its ad campaign.

Sydney Sweeney's first public appearance amid her drama brought this look.
