Rain revealed her donation in a moving Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a video of the children dancing with a banner that read “Happy Birthday.”
In her caption, the OnlyFans star, who turns 21 on September 22, wrote, “Got this beautiful early birthday message from @hyperskidsafrica and they told me they’re raising money to build their dream home for 67 wonderful children! I donated $10,000 and I urge anyone who has some spare money to help them so they can build a beautiful home for these talented kids.”
The nonprofit quickly responded with appreciation, commenting, “Wow thanks so much @sophieraiin for our donation may God bless you more. We appreciate everything. We are going to start building our own house.”

Fans Divided Over Sophie Rain’s $10K Donation To Hyper Kids Africa

Despite Rain's kind gesture to Hyper Kids Africa, not everyone was pleased and some of them shared their thoughts.
One person felt Rain should have donated more and they wrote, "Her donation compared to her income is the equivalent of a person making 35k per year donating 8$. It's peanuts for her. "
Another person added, "I feel like 10k ain't sh-t, you make LeBron James money."
A third person wrote, "lol trying to be a pick me," to which Rain replied, "Or maybe just trying to help out a family in need."
Several fans came to Rain's defense, with one of them writing, "She literally did a good deed and people in the comments complaining she didn’t donate enough and not one of the people complaining gone match her donations not even 10 percent smh."
Another fan added, "I really don’t understand how people can hate on this. SMH. Keep being you."
A Star Using Her Spotlight For Change

Rain’s rising online presence has always been marked by her ability to connect with fans, but her decision to highlight Hypers Kids Africa has taken her influence to a new level.
The Uganda-based group, made up of talented young dancers, has long relied on donations to provide food, education, and housing. With Rain’s contribution, the children’s dream of a permanent home is closer than ever before.
At just 20 years old, Rain is proving that viral fame can be about more than trends, but also a force for hope, inspiration, and change.
Why Sophie Rain Chose To Give Back

In an exclusive conversation with The Blast, Rain opened up about the emotional inspiration behind her donation.
“When I got that birthday message from Hypers Kids Africa, it honestly stopped me in my tracks. These kids are so joyful, passion, and talented despite facing challenges most people couldn’t imagine. To know they’re dreaming of a safe place to live, a real home they can call their own, I felt compelled to do something meaningful.”
Rain explained that contributing $10,000 felt like the very least she could do and still didn’t come close to what they truly deserve.
She also hopes their story inspires others to take action. Instead of receiving birthday gifts this year, Rain chose to give the kids the gift of a brighter future, supporting the building of their home, a cause greater than herself.
She pledged to stand with them until it becomes a reality.
Sophie Rain’s Earnings Eclipse LeBron James With $82.9 Million Fortune
Rain's donation is coming a week after she shocked fans by revealing she earned an astonishing $82.9 million in the past year.
In a viral video with YouTuber David Dobrik, she displayed her private earnings dashboard, admitting she sometimes worries the success could vanish overnight.
Dobrik reassured her, calling the figure “empire money” rather than typical influencer income.
Rain compared her wealth to NBA legend LeBron James, noting his $56 million salary last year fell short of her total haul. Even after fees and expenses, her net income far outpaced James’ $48 million for the 2024–25 season.
Dobrik, visibly stunned, remarked that Rain wasn’t just making viral content but “rewriting the rules” of digital stardom.
