Erin Andrews is kicking off fall with more than just football. The veteran sports broadcaster and entrepreneur has teamed up with Glade for the brand’s first-ever Pumpkin Debate campaign, and in between discussing the partnership, she sat down with The Blast to talk all things NFL. From her thoughts on early Super Bowl contenders to breakout players and the most emotional interview of her career, Andrews gave fans a glimpse into what excites her most about the season ahead. With Week 1 kicking off tonight, September 4, Erin Andrews reminded fans of what makes the league so unpredictable and so thrilling.
Erin Andrews Admits NFL Is Unpredictable

Andrews has covered countless NFL seasons, but she still marvels at the unpredictability of the game. When asked who she thought might make it to the Super Bowl, she admitted it’s almost impossible to call this early. “I’m like the worst person to ask about that because things change every day,” she told The Blast. “You never know who could get hurt, what a team could be facing. With the NFL, we’ve seen it all, until the next day when something even crazier happens.”
For fans like her, that uncertainty is part of the fun. “It’s just like, everything, it’s a 24-hour news cycle. Something is always happening,” Andrews added.
Andrews Reveals NFL Stars She’s Watching Closely This Season

So, who is she keeping her eye on? Andrews is excited to see how rising stars and established veterans perform under the pressure of a new season. “I obviously just have my eye on guys like Jaden Daniels,” she explained. “He was a breakout player last year, so I’m excited to see how he builds on what he did.”
She also mentioned household names like Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, and Christian McCaffrey, all of whom face high expectations. “How is Saquon going to handle the load he had last year? How’s Dak going to be? How’s McCaffrey going to be? Everybody hopes he’s healthy,” she said.
Erin Andrews Recalls Emotional Interview With Saquon Barkley

Andrews may be known for her sideline presence, but she admits the most memorable moments often happen off the field. One interview in particular left a lasting impact. “I got to interview Saquon before the NFC Championship and he had me crying in the middle of it,” she revealed. “He was talking about holding out hope, leaving a team you thought you’d be with forever, and taking a chance.”
What struck Andrews most was Barkley’s openness about meditation and manifesting his dreams. “He said he could see the confetti falling on the field, and I just started crying because I cheer for all these guys I get to cover. He’s such a fantastic human being and a great teammate. That was probably one of my favorite interviews I’ve done.”
Andrews Opens Up About Family Chaos During NFL Season

Andrews admits that football season adds another layer of intensity to her already busy life, balancing broadcast duties, family time, and even her new partnership with Glade. She laughed about her attempts to stay organized, from buying Halloween costumes early to keeping the household in check.
“I’m trying to be the mom that can hold it down at home, even though I don’t do a very good job at that,” she joked. “The biggest thing I’ve got to learn is when it’s our time, it’s our time. You really have to separate work from family, which can be hard.” That authenticity and willingness to admit the chaos are part of what has made Andrews such a relatable figure to fans.
Erin Andrews Balances Sidelines And Scents

As both football season and her Glade campaign kick off, Andrews is ready for the drama, the unpredictability, and the human stories that unfold along the way. Whether its watching breakout rookies prove themselves, veterans fight for one more shot at glory, or simply soaking in the traditions that come with fall, she knows the next few months will be anything but boring.
“You want everyone to win,” she reflected. “That’s what makes this job so emotional and so special.” For fans tuning in, Andrews promises what she’s always delivered: honest, heartfelt coverage of the game she loves with a side of cozy fall vibes.
