South Carolina politician Nancy Mace is calling for renewed scrutiny of Prince Andrew's ties to Jeffrey Epstein amid ongoing protests demanding the full release of the late sex offender's files.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre accused Andrew of sexually abusing her at age 17 after being introduced to him by Epstein.

While the disgraced prince has continued to insist on his innocence, he ultimately settled the case out of court for an undisclosed sum, leaving questions about his guilt unresolved.

"Now seems like a good time to discuss prosecuting Prince Andrew for any and all potential crimes on US soil," Mace penned on her X page. "A cold, dark cell. Prince Andrew in handcuffs. Sends the right message."

In a follow-up tweet, Mace hinted at why she was calling for his criminal prosecution, saying it would help victims of Epstein heal.

"Seems like the right next step (after we release the files)," Mace said about Andrew. "Perhaps we can focus on prosecuting predators next. Let victims, survivors, and the country heal."

In response to Mace's post, netizens expressed that they don't want selective accountability but rather the prosecution of everyone connected to Epstein.

"Out them ALL, not just pick and choose. They should ALL be held accountable," one wrote, another commented, "All of the predators, not just a select few. ALL OF THEM."

"Why prosecute just one of them? They all involved in this despicable act need to be prosecuted," a third netizen commented.

Someone else said, "Prince Andrew has been cut off from the royal family. No punishment has been meted out to any others. Why this double standard ?"

One more person remarked, "Why don't you start in America? We still haven't seen a single person prosecuted here. It's all nothing but empty words!"

The Lawmaker Tearfully Walked Out Of A Meeting With Epstein Survivors After Suffering A 'Panic Attack'

Mace's comments came just days after she walked out of an oversight committee meeting with Epstein's victims.

Photos showed her tearfully leaving the room and refusing to answer questions from reporters in the hallway.

Later that day, she addressed the incident on X, explaining that the victims' stories were difficult to hear because she, too, is a survivor.

"Since it's already being reported - Yes, I left the Oversight briefing with Epstein victims early," she wrote on X.

"As a recent survivor (not 2 years in), I had a very difficult time listening to their stories. Full-blown panic attack. Sweating. Hyperventilating. Shaking. I can't breathe," Mace further remarked about the incident. "I feel the immense pain of how hard all victims are fighting for themselves because we know absolutely no one will fight for us."

Mace is also among the many politicians demanding the full release of the Epstein files, even though authorities have already closed their investigation into the case.

In the push for transparency, she joined several other lawmakers in signing a discharge petition aimed at compelling Congress to hold a vote on releasing the documents.

Whether that vote will take place remains uncertain as pressure continued to mount on the Trump administration.

As reported by The Blast, Epstein survivors leading the protests have vowed to compile their own list of perpetrators if no action is taken.

"We know the names," said Lisa Phillips, who met Epstein in the early 2000s. "Many of us were abused by them."

She added, "Now, together, as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know who were regularly in the Epstein world. And it will be done by survivors and for survivors — no one else is involved."
