Wednesday at Capitol Hill was an emotional affair as victims of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein protested the handling of his case.

The protesters, who were flanked by a bipartisan mix of lawmakers, demanded the release of all files related to the case after investigative agencies recently announced they were ending their probe into Epstein.

Amid their calls for greater transparency, several victims also shared damning revelations about their interactions with Epstein, who died in prison while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and abusing minors.

One alleged victim, Chauntae Davies, said she felt "powerless" to speak out about the abuse she suffered at Epstein's hands, as he often boasted of his ties to "the most powerful leaders of our country and the world."

"He bragged about his powerful friends, including our current president, Donald Trump," Davies said, per Newsweek.

"It was his biggest brag, actually," she added, before revealing that she had also followed the late sex offender on a trip to Africa where they were joined by "former president Bill Clinton and other notable figures."

Another individual, Annie Farmer, revealed that she was abused by Epstein at the age of 16 and that, despite the abuse being reported, nothing was done about it.

"I am now 46 years old. Thirty years later, we still do not know why that report was not properly investigated or why Epstein and his associates were allowed to harm hundreds, if not thousands, of other girls and young women," Farmer said.

She went on to say that Epstein's crimes were an "open secret" and that his friends and colleagues "chose to look the other way because it benefited them to do so."

Farmer also emphasized that she and her fellow protesters will not back down from pressuring the government to release the files and conduct a thorough public review of all the information related to the case.

"We are not going away, and we are not going to be quiet, and we are not going to give up, and I ask the American public to stand with us and not give up," Farmer remarked.

As part of their protest, the victims urged Trump to stop dismissing their case as a "hoax."

One said his remarks "just make you want to explode inside," while another pleaded, "Please humanize us."

Their appeals, however, appeared to go unheard, as Trump doubled down on his "hoax" claims when pressed by reporters about the protest.

"Nobody is ever satisfied," he said, before labeling the alleged Epstein files as a "Democrat hoax."

"They're trying to get people to talk about something that's totally irrelevant to the success that we've had since I've been president," he continued. "I think it's enough."

Earlier this year, the FBI, in conjunction with the DOJ, announced the closure of the Epstein investigation.

In their conclusion, officials stated there was no so-called Epstein list and no evidence he had blackmailed high-profile individuals.

However, many of Epstein's victims, who found the conclusion unacceptable, have now vowed to compile their own list, per the New York Post.

"We know the names," said Lisa Phillips, who met Epstein in the early 2000s. "Many of us were abused by them."

She added, "Now, together, as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know who were regularly in the Epstein world. And it will be done by survivors and for survivors — no one else is involved," she added.

In the meantime, the victims of the late sex offender are urging Congress to approve a discharge petition.

Their goal is to compel the federal government to make all Epstein-related documents and videos public.

The petition, put forward by Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie had not yet secured the votes needed for passage as of Wednesday morning.
