The Duchess of Sussex shared with a guest on the second season of her cooking show, Chef José Andrés, that her husband particularly abstains from consuming shellfish.

She disclosed that the Duke of Sussex does not eat lobster, nor do members of his immediate and extended family back in the United Kingdom.

According to a royal staff member, Grant Harrold, the palace has put an order against shellfish in place to ensure that all members of the royal family remain spared from any health concerns that may arise from consuming it.

"It is a very sensible move to abandon having seafood when out and about on public duties," Harrold explained, according to PEOPLE.

As much as Meghan loves spending time in the kitchen, there is one aspect of cooking she is not exactly a fan of, and that is… Baking! As shared by The Blast, the former actress may have a change of heart if it comes in the form of a more spontaneous activity.

During a discussion with chef Tosi in an episode on the new season, Meghan explained that the concept of baking is all about measurements and numbers, a process she does not fancy.

She reinforced this notion with her decision to infuse premeasured crepe mixes and ready-made shortbread cookies into her brand lineup.

When it was time to make dessert in the episode, she stated to Chef Tosi that "pre-made, good puff pastry" was her choice, as opposed to making the "dough from scratch."

What Critics Think About 'With Love, Meghan' Season Two

It is almost an unspoken rule that the Duchess of Sussex receives her fair share of criticism each time she rolls out a new plan (not exactly a fair share, perhaps more than fair).

The Blast noted that following the release of the second season of her anticipated and successful show with the streaming giant, news outlets in the U.K. got busy. For The Sun's Matt Wilkinson, Meghan's project is "self-indulgent" at best, while The Guardian thought it is "painfully contrived."

Another outlet described the second season as another attempt by Meghan to make quick cash without putting in the work, while celebrity chef Jameson Stocks advised the lifestyle enthusiast to pick acting as her primary genre and stick to it.

"I tried to keep an open mind, hoping it might be an improvement on the first series. But just two minutes in, I was already done with this bullsh-t," the chef expressed.

The Duchess of Sussex revealed in a recent interview with Emily Chang on her "The Circuit with Emily Chang" that the criticism of her cooking show has not stopped critics from copying her recipes.

Meghan affirmed that she was content with the traction the first season of the show gained from her partners and audiences. The actress added that the love influenced the streaming company to approach her for a second season of the show.

She also saw a different side to the naysayers' reactions, noting that it is a means to an end for some of them, but at someone's detriment- a fact she has made peace with.

Ultimately, Meghan remained focused on the show and her brand being a channel to share her love and favorite tips with people.
