Kelley Wolf Walks Free After Reportedly Doxxing Estranged Husband Scott Wolf

Kelley Wolf has been released from jail following a dramatic arrest that has thrown her already messy divorce from actor Scott Wolf into the spotlight.

The “Real World: New Orleans” alum walked out of Summit County Jail on August 28 after being arrested just two days earlier for allegedly harassing her estranged husband and sharing his private phone number on Instagram.

While Kelley is no longer behind bars, her release comes with strict court conditions and a brewing custody battle that shows the drama between the former couple is far from over.

According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Kelley was taken into custody on August 26 and booked on two class B misdemeanors: electronic disclosure of personal identifying information and electronic communications harassment.

She was held on a $5,000 bond before being released on August 28, PEOPLE confirmed.

Court documents showed her release came with strict terms.

Kelley must not “consume any alcohol or narcotic drug or other controlled substance unless prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner” and is also required to “participate in inpatient or medical, behavior, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.”

She is banned from using social media until further notice and ordered not to contact potential witnesses in the case.

On the very day of her release, Scott filed a new temporary restraining order against her, signaling just how tense things have become between the estranged couple.

According to an incident report, Scott called police after receiving multiple messages from Kelley, sparking the harassment complaint.

The report stated, “The complainant and victim reported receiving multiple text messages from his wife, Kelley Wolf, with whom he is going through a divorce.”

The actor then checked Instagram, where he discovered his number had allegedly been posted by the 48-year-old.

He told officers that after the post went up, “he received about 24 calls and multiple texts in the first ten minutes from the time of the first call.”

Scott explained the number was linked to his personal phone, the same one he uses to stay in touch with his kids.

He said the barrage of calls and texts caused “a major disruption,” forcing him to seek help from law enforcement.

When officers arrived at Kelley’s home, things quickly escalated.

The responding deputy noted that the life coach “refused to open the front door and instead spoke to me through an open front porch window.”

When asked about posting her husband’s number, she did not respond and began making counter-accusations.

The officer recalled, “I advised Kelley that I had probable cause to arrest her for the offense and asked her to come outside so I could take her into custody.” It wasn’t immediate, though.

The deputy continued, “I waited on the porch for over an hour while Kelley changed clothes, as she was in a bathrobe when I spoke to her. Eventually, she came outside onto the front porch. I arrested her for the offense.”

Before her arrest, Kelley shared her fears with her online followers.

“The police are at my house to arrest me. I have no idea why. Deputy Norton said I must comply, and I will,” she posted on Instagram.

In another upload, she added, “I am not suicidal. I am no danger to anyone. I have done nothing. I am so scared. So confused.”

As Kelley faces criminal charges, her divorce from Scott continues to play out in court.

On August 22, a Utah judge upheld a previous decision allowing “The Nine” star to have temporary sole physical custody of the couple’s three children, Jackson, Miller, and Lucy.

On the other hand, Kelley was granted liberal supervised parenting time.

The updated agreement also ordered that each of the children would work with a safe-harbor therapist as the family continues navigating the fallout of their split.

The filing reaffirmed a July 15 decision that sided with Scott in the custody dispute, leaving Kelley with very limited time with her children.

On June 10, 2025, Kelley shocked fans when she announced her split from Scott Wolf after 21 years of marriage.

In her post shared on Instagram, she described the Hollywood star as a great and amazing father.

Kelley shared that she was focused on healing and the well-being of her children.

Shortly after, Scott revealed he had filed for divorce. On June 24, he filed for a temporary restraining order, citing escalating behavior he said posed a danger to their children, a move that was quickly granted.

The 57-year-old was then awarded temporary sole physical custody of their three kids as the legal fallout intensified.
