David Geffen's Estranged Husband Accuses Him Of Demanding Sexual 'Domination' In New Lawsuit

David Geffen's divorce from estranged husband Donovan Michaels continues to take a messy turn with several disturbing allegations springing up.

In another explosive lawsuit, Michaels alleged that the billionaire music mogul demanded sexual "domination" over him and controlled his appearance with painful surgeries and laser treatments.

Donovan Michaels also accused David Geffen of "exploitation," adding that he treated him like a "living social experiment" and used him as a "sexual commodity."

Geffen's ongoing divorce has taken a dramatic turn as court documents revealed explosive allegations from his estranged husband, Donovan Michaels.

According to the WallStreet Journal, Michaels alleged in the court filing that his relationship with the 82-year-old music mogul was built on sex, money, and intimidation.

He claimed that Geffen insisted on sexual "dominance," and also dictated his appearance with painful surgeries and laser treatments. In fact, the film producer allegedly wanted him so spotless that he criticized him over minor flaws, such as ingrown hair.

In his complaint, the 32-year-old alleged that Geffen demanded such an extreme sex life, one in which he "gained satisfaction from causing pain" and sought "total dominion" over him.

Geffen also allegedly funded painful surgeries to preserve his younger look, as "the existence of an ingrown hair was enough to raise Geffen's ire and trigger a flurry of instructions to correct the imperfection."

Elsewhere in the legal document, Michaels alleged that Geffen took a stronghold on his life as he prevented him from pursuing a career of his own and relegated him to managing his properties as a glorified "house husband."

Geffen's boy toy would later attempt to assert his independence and reclaim control of his life, but the DreamWorks cofounder didn't like that and couldn't handle it.

"[Geffen] wanted to be the savior, the white knight, and the 'top,'" the legal filing cited by the journal read.

Geffen and the former gogo dancer got married in 2023, but after two years, the media guru filed for divorce in May. Reports suggest they didn't sign a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot, but California laws protect Geffen's $9 billion fortune, as he amassed it before their marriage.

It comes barely a month after Michaels made several disturbing allegations in a previous lawsuit, including claims that Geffen only saw him as an object to exploit and seemingly weaponized his trauma for Geffen's "personal gratification and public image."

He alleged that Geffen initially promised to take care of him and treat him as a life partner, only to realize it was a trap, one that he had given up his modeling career to pursue.

In his complaint, Michaels noted that their lack of a prenup agreement reinforced his beliefs that their "relationship was genuine and enduring," but what he was ignorant of was the fact that it was "nothing more than a transaction to Geffen."

He said that he gave his body, love, labor, and youth to Geffen for years, but "could not take the abuse from Geffen, nor keep up with Geffen's proclivities, and suffered from addiction."

The former adult film actor also added that when things got difficult between them as he no longer fit the "carefully curated narrative Geffen had crafted for his social world," the Hollywood executive cut him off, demanded a divorce, and "breached his years-long promises and agreements."

Geffen's camp has maintained that all of Michaels' allegations are far from the truth as his attorneys accused him of exploiting the billionaire's generosity by splurging on wild shopping sprees, lavish trips, OnlyFans subscriptions, and prostitutes.

They noted that Michaels was spoiled and well taken care of by Geffen, but allegedly became reckless.

It also seems Geffen has no intention of backing down, as a source told the news outlet he's "not going to write a check just to make someone go away."

Geffen has retired for 15 years and has no income other than investments, including property sales and dividends from stocks and equities. However, those assets are all separate property.

Hence, it appears that Michaels is unlikely to receive much in the way of cash, as under California law, dividends from stocks that are separate property are also considered separate property, according to TMZ.

He's also only entitled to 1 year of spousal support, as California laws stipulate that the receiving partner would only receive such payments for half the duration of their marriage.
