Late Michael Jackson's Family Celebrates Exciting Engagement Shortly After Paris Jackson's Ended

As one Jackson love story ends, another begins. Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Molly.

He shared the exciting news in a heartwarming Instagram post on Tuesday, August 26. 

Meanwhile, Prince’s sister, Paris Jackson, recently ended her engagement to her ex-fiancé, Justin Long. The duo broke up in early August, ending their eight-month engagement and three-year relationship. 

Prince’s engagement announcement showcased several heartwarming moments between him and his fiancée. The post was set to his late father’s popular song, “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You.” 

In the first slide, the 28-year-old was captured sharing a passionate kiss with Molly while they stood in the middle of an empty road surrounded by picturesque greenery. The caption read:

“8 years down [infinity emoji] to go. Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories.”

He added, “We’ve traveled the world, graduated, and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make memories. I love you, Babs.”

The engagement announcement on Instagram was met with a wholesome congratulatory message from Taryll Jackson, son of the late Tito Jackson. Fans also poured out their support in the comment section, wishing Prince a lifetime of happiness with his new fiancée.

In 2018, the eldest child of the late singer spoke about his relationship with Molly during an interview with People Magazine. At the time, he kept her name a secret. However, he openly gushed about her, saying that she brought a sense of balance to his life. 

“In everything there’s an important balance. I think that I'm a certain way, and she's very— I don't want to say opposite— but complementary in a way that we balance each other out. I'm more aggressive, she's a little softer,” he said.

Prince revealed that Molly helps him look at situations from different perspectives, while he does the same for her. He added that the nature of their complementary relationship helps them stay “well-rounded.”

While Prince is celebrating the beginning of his new love chapter, Paris is mourning the end of hers. The actress and model recently took to X to confirm that she and Long are no longer romantic partners. 

Paris’s breakup confirmation came a few days after she was spotted crying while taking a solo walk in Malibu on July 23.

As reported by The Blast, she was seen looking disheveled while wearing grey shorts and a brown shirt. Tears freely flowed down her face. However, she didn’t seem to mind as she appeared lost in her grief. 

Fans initially speculated that her tears were connected to her late father. However, she quickly cleared the air, writing that they were “breakup tears.” 

Shortly after Paris’s heartbreaking split, she was spotted enjoying an evening out with her friends Macaulay Culkin and his partner, Brenda Song.

The trio spent a night out at the Chateau Mormont in Los Angeles, as confirmed by The Blast.

Paris sported a tan mini skirt, which she paired with a white see-through shirt, a tie, and a pair of knee-high boots to complete the look. On the other hand, Culkin wore a gray suit paired with black shoes and a tie-dye bag. 

News of Paris’s split from Long came amid reports that she is facing mounting pressure from relatives who have their eyes set on her late father’s wealth. 

According to The Blast, an insider revealed that relatives view Paris as a vulnerable target and have tried to use her to gain access to the wealth saved up for her. 

Despite popular belief, Paris only has limited access to Michael Jackson’s estate. The 27-year-old will not automatically inherit her father’s property upon turning 30. Instead, she will be supervised by court-approved experts who will take the lead in managing the vast estate.
