Jay Cutler will be closing off September tucked behind bars!
The former NFL star is prepared to fulfill the law's end of the bargain as part of his plea deal to dismiss his ongoing DUI case permanently.
Jay Cutler was arrested last year and charged with DUI after he attempted to buy his way out of his arrest and even tried to run away from the scene of questioning.
Jay Cutler Will Spend Four Days In Jail And Attend A DUI Safety Class

Details of the 42-year-old's plea deal are in after he struck a deal with prosecutors on Tuesday to let go of his last year's DUI case. The ex-footballer reportedly pled guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI in a Tennessee courtroom.
The Williamson County prosecutors also dropped the weapon possession charge against him following the forfeiture of his weapon. As for his four-day jail term, it is reportedly scheduled to begin by the end of September.
There are also monetary aspects to his punishment, as he has been required to pay $350 in fines and will be under mandatory supervised probation for one year. Per TMZ, Cutler also got his Tennessee license revoked for a year and would have to attend a safety class on the ills of drinking while intoxicated.

The arresting officer at the scene of the accident affirmed that the 42-year-old was very uncoordinated during the arrest and which instantly gave him away, The Blast noted.
Cutler reportedly staggered, swayed, and appeared heavy-footed as he walked at the spot of the accident where he bashed a car from behind in downtown Florida.
Aside from his slurry speech, Cutler's eyes also appeared "bloodshot, glassy, red/pink, watery and dilated." The retired athlete also had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his mouth and car.
The former TV star had tried to pay off the victim before the police officers got involved and conducted a search on his car, where they also found a handgun and a rifle.
The discovery led to the father-of-three bagging several charges, including illegal possession of a weapon while intoxicated, DUI, implied consent, and failure to be careful to avoid an accident.

The arresting officer added that he only received a fraction of cooperation from Cutler after informing him that he was an Advanced Roadside Impairment Enforcement Officer.
Following this, the former football player forcefully admitted that there was alcohol in his system. When the officer attempted to conduct a field test on Cutler, he was met with resistance until a warrant was obtained to perform a blood search after Cutler was taken to the police station.
Tests conducted on his blood at the Williamson Medical Center affirmed that he was heavily under the influence while he was behind the wheel.
Cutler’s bout of denial did not stop there; he also claimed he did not have contact with the rear-ended car, although the arresting officer claimed in his affidavit that there was a small dent on the vehicle.
Kristin Cavallari’s former husband might have gotten away with the claim, as the protective gear in the front of his car did not make the potential damage from the collision obvious. Cutler was eventually released from the holding cell after he posted a $ 5,000 bond.
Cutler And Ex Kristin Cavallari At An Impasse On Marriage Financial Claims

The jewelry designer parted ways with Cutler in a messy divorce process in 2022, and since then, they have engaged in several verbal back-and-forths about their split.
The Blast shared that Kristin confessed on her podcast that she did not get any money from their publicized divorce. Responding to his ex-wife's comments, Cutler clarified on the "Take It Outside" podcast that Cavallari's story was untrue, given his net worth and earnings throughout the marriage.
"You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It's online. You can see the contract from year to year and the total amount at the end of 12 years," Cutler expressed.
The 42-year-old affirmed that no judge in Tennessee can sign any agreement that would leave her out of all the benefits he gathered throughout the 12 years of his football career. Cutler reportedly earned over $128 million playing in the NFL after retiring in 2017.
Jay Cutler Sold Off Their Former Shared Tennessee Home Last August

A little over a year ago, Cutler offloaded what was left of his marriage to the media personality in a big sale, which saw him take a $3 million loss to close the deal. The property, a 10,697-square-foot home, was initially listed for $11 million in 2023 before being sold for $7.9 million last year.
The expansive property, which once housed Cutler, Cavallari, and their three children, consisted of 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a gym, a sauna, and a pool house. He won the property in their divorce settlement, which was his primary place of residence until the sale.
The estranged couple purchased the 45-acre home for $4.23 million in 2018, followed by the acquisition of an additional 35 acres for $1.2 million. Cavallari and Cutler got married in 2013 after an on-and-off relationship that began in 2010.
