The wrestling world is gearing up for a powerful tribute to Hulk Hogan at Real American Freestyle’s inaugural event, and it’s happening live on FOX Nation.
“RAF01,” the debut showcase for the brand-new wrestling promotion, kicks off Saturday, August 30, at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH, with a star-studded card, live performances, and a heartfelt nod to Hulk Hogan.
Hulk Hogan’s Family To Lead Tribute

The tribute segment will honor Hogan’s life, career, and enduring legacy in wrestling.
His wife, Sky Daily, and son, Nick Hogan, are set to appear during the ceremony, adding a deeply personal touch to the emotional farewell. FOX Nation, which recently struck a broadcast deal with Real American Freestyle, will stream the tribute exclusively for subscribers.
Hogan, known as one of the most iconic figures in sports entertainment, passed away last month, and RAF01’s tribute marks the first major live event to honor his memory on a national stage.
Remembering Hulk Hogan’s Passing

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died on July 24 at age 71 following an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. According to a cremation report, the WWE Hall of Famer also had a history of atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a form of blood cancer.
Emergency officials in Clearwater, Florida, responded to a call for cardiac arrest around 10 a.m. that morning and rushed Hogan to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His wife, Sky Daily, confirmed the devastating news the next day in a heartfelt social media post. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” she wrote. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
WWE also issued a statement, writing, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
Brooke Hogan Raises Questions

But even as fans mourn, controversy has surrounded Hogan’s death.
His daughter, Brooke Hogan, recently suggested there were “hidden truths” surrounding her father’s passing, and hinted that body cam footage from Clearwater police officers could shed new light.
While Brooke admitted her “hands were tied,” sources claimed she may be onto something significant. According to law enforcement documents obtained by TMZ, an occupational therapist was reportedly present at Hogan’s home during the emergency response. That therapist allegedly told officers that Hogan was the victim of medical malpractice, claiming his phrenic nerve had been “severed” during a recent surgery.
The phrenic nerve is critical, as it stimulates the diaphragm to control breathing. Sources further alleged Hulk Hogan didn’t display the classic signs of a heart attack, like chest-clenching or pain, but instead suddenly stopped breathing.
Though it remains unclear whether the surgery in question was tied to his heart or a prior neck procedure, Brooke’s claims have raised questions and added a new layer of mystery to the wrestling icon’s tragic final days.
Big Names, Big Performances

The lineup for RAF01 is stacked with combat sports legends. Julianna Peña, Holly Holm, Urijah Faber, Mark Coleman, Tito Ortiz, and Clay Guida are among the names slated to attend. To top off the night, country duo LoCash will deliver a live concert performance, which will also be streamed on FOX Nation as part of the broadcast.
FOX Nation’s exclusive deal with Real American Freestyle covers RAF01 as well as a second event this fall, giving subscribers access to what organizers are calling “a reimagined style of wrestling coverage.” Led by Eric Bischoff, Chad Bronstein, and Izzy Martinez, RAF is aiming to professionalize wrestling with a modern approach that blends entertainment, storytelling, and competition.
Adding even more star power, legendary Olympian and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, MMA champion Chael Sonnen, and world champion Bubba Jenkins will be on commentary duty, providing expert analysis throughout the debut event.
Wrestling Redefined

With its mix of hard-hitting matches, top-tier entertainment, and heartfelt moments, RAF01 is shaping up to be more than just an inaugural event; it’s the start of a new chapter in wrestling history.
And with Hulk Hogan’s tribute taking center stage, fans can expect an emotional night dedicated to one of the sport’s most unforgettable icons.
“RAF01” streams live exclusively on FOX Nation on Saturday, August 30.
