Kylie Jenner Remembers Late Hairstylist Jesus Guerrero On His Posthumous Birthday: 'Forever Loved'

Kylie Jenner continues to honor her late friend Jesus Guerrero's memory. "The Kardashians" star took to social media to celebrate the posthumous birthday of her longtime hairstylist.

This comes six months after the celebrity hairstylist died unexpectedly, as revealed by Guerrero's sister.

His cause of death was eventually disclosed months later, and Jenner stepped in to cover the burial expenses for Guerrero's family.

Jenner, in an Instagram Story update, celebrated the posthumous birthday of her late friend, Guerrero, who passed away unexpectedly at 34 on February 2.

As she continues to honor his legacy, she marked what would have been his 35th birthday with an emotional tribute.

"Not a day goes by that we don't think about you @jesushair," she wrote on her story, alongside a picture of a cake with five lit candles, as reported by E! News.

She then wished him a "happy heavenly birthday" and declared that Guerrero is "forever loved" and "missed."

The mother of two, who shares her kids with ex Travis Scott, appeared to be deeply grieving her late friend as she reflected on their close friendship days after the news of his death.

In honor of his passing, she took to Instagram with pictures of them together, writing, "Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support."

Painfully, she admitted that the loss was unbearable and confessed she was unsure how to move forward, consoling herself with the thought that "grief is born out of great love."

Through her pain, she shared more memories with the late celebrity stylist, revealing that she couldn't get through the day without crying. She further expressed that the world feels lonelier without him.

News of the death of the 34-year-old stylist broke after his younger sister, Gris, revealed that Guerrero had passed away, describing it as "sudden" and "unexpected."

The statement read, "It's with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven."

According to The Blast, she opened a GoFundMe account in his honor, praising her brother and noting that he had learned "how to work hard" and "dreamt of taking his skills to the top."

She further announced that preparations were being made to take him to his Houston hometown for burial with the GoFundMe funds, which had reached $48,000 of the $60,000 target, as she encouraged fans to contribute to the cause. 

After news of the death broke, Jenner took to her social media to honor Guerrero, speaking about how much he meant to her. She described him as having a "beautiful spirit," expressed her wish to hug him again, and called him her "222 angel" in a post that garnered over 600k likes.

She went beyond online tributes by reaching out to Guerrero's family to cover the full cost of his burial. In addition to financial support, sources revealed that Jenner also offered emotional comfort to the grieving family, as The Blast reported.

Fans also celebrated her gesture, with one noting, "It's truly beautiful how you and your family embrace and lift the teams that support you. I've always found that phenomenal and full of heart. I'm so sorry for the massive loss."

Two months after the passing of Jenner's close friend, the cause of death was confirmed by the "Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner."

It was revealed that Guerrero's weak immune system made him susceptible to severe pneumonia and an infection caused by Cryptococcus neoformans, a fungal organism, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Per The Blast, Guerrero had been complaining about his health since last year but continued working and remained active, even attending "Paris Fashion Week" with Jenner just a month before his death.

As the pain lingers in the hearts of many, Jenner has remained determined to hold on to the words and fondest memories of her true artist friend, vowing to treasure all they shared together.
