Kim Kardashian Slammed For Allowing Daughter North Wear 'Way Too Adult' Outfit In 'Inappropriate' Video

Kim Kardashian is facing backlash over what many have described as an "inappropriate" TikTok video featuring her daughter, North West.

The pair stepped out in style for dinner in Rome on Sunday evening, but fans were left stunned due to how "grown" the 12-year-old looked next to her mother.

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, Kanye West, has often complained about the way their kids are being raised and the things they're exposed to, even once threatening legal action against the reality TV star.

Kim Kardashian has received so much criticism from Internet users, as many deemed a recent TikTok video she made with her 12-year-old daughter, North West, to be "inappropriate."

The video, which was originally shared to their joint account, saw North, along with her mother and two of her mother's friends, dancing to Destroy Lonely's song "If Looks Could Kill."

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum turned heads in a stylish black dress, but North's mini-skirt and black corset top outfit left many fans puzzled.

The expletive and sexually suggestive lyrics of the song further heightened their shock as to how Kardashian would allow the pre-teen anywhere near it as Destroy Lonely sings "Riding down Candler Road, and I'm speeding/I got hella h-es tryna f-ck me and my bros."

The clip, which has been viewed over 5 million times on social media, instantly sparked a strong reaction from fans, including those in the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" subreddit.

"She should be the mom, not a friend. This gives me the ick. Kim is a poor example to her oldest daughter, modeling no sense of boundaries," a Reddit user wrote. "Serious disconnect when it's time to be the adult in the room. Generational trauma repeats in an evil cycle, just like her mom neglected her instead of proper mothering. The disrespectful lyrics, too, give racially insensitive, I'm sad for them, ugh, just so much to unpack here."

"She's just a baby, this is disturbing at 12," one fan claimed, while another added, "Whoa. This is really inappropriate. The lyrics, the outfit, the general vibe? I'm shocked she thought this was ok, honestly."

Another fan wrote, "That's wild... I couldn't imagine letting my child dress this way AND post it for the internet, like who is this really for??! Do they listen to the lyrics of some of these 'trend' songs  and decide 'Yup, this is a vibe for my 12-year-old"

One more commenter said, "I got hella h-es tryna f-ck me and my bros'… very appropriate for a 12-year-old and her mom to be jamming out to together. Stunning."

Several others online took aim at North's outfit, with one person writing, "That outfit is way too adult for her age."

The mother-daughter duo stepped out for a dinner date in Rome on Sunday evening, with North donning the same dress and blue hair she wore in the controversial clip.

According to the Daily Mail, the Kardashian and North got to spend some quality time as North showed off her eye-catching blue hair worn in bunches while leaving Pierluigi Restaurant.

She completed the look with a pair of black steampunk boots that made her completely tower over her mother.

The SKIMS founder, on her part, wore a tight-fitted dress while showing off her toned legs. She completed the look with strappy black heels and accessorized with a bejewelled crucifix necklace and diamond choker.

This isn't the first time Kim and North's joint TikTok account has caused a stir, with her ex-husband Kanye West previously voicing his frustration and disapproval of North's presence on the platform.

The rapper once took to X (former Twitter) to cry out about not having any control over his children, while branding Kardashian and her family adult film stars.

The former couple started dating in 2012 and got married in 2014 before splitting 8 years later. Alongside North, they also share children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Meanwhile, a video recently made the rounds promising to take a peek into Kardashian and West's broken marriage as the "Carnival" rapper can be seen looking distraught in it, having refused to take his medications.

In the first trailer for the documentary released earlier this month, West declared in a voiceover: "I'm off my meds for five months now."

However, Kardashian didn't like it and made it a point to remind him how his psychological health had been affected.

"Your personality was not like this a few years ago," she said, per the Deadline.

However, things didn't settle as they continued to drag on.

"I would rather be dead than be on medication… Either they destroy me or I destroy it.. I'm almost like a masochist… I write whatever I want when I want! It's words!" West noted.

An insider said that Kardashian is still "haunted" by her experiences during their marriage and is being "triggered" by the film, which will be released next month.
