Emma Watson Told Hiking In Her 'Tiniest' Underwear Inappropriate

Emma Watson made instant headlines for her revealing hiking outfit this month, although the response was pretty frosty. The Harry Potter actress looked in good spirits as she was spotted wearing a see-through dress and a two-piece outfit last weekend. Photographed in St. Tropez while working up a sweat, Emma highlighted her fit figure while out with her personal trainer, although very few of the comments were about her workout activities. Users went right for the British star's unusual hiking look, one comprised of a stringy undies top and briefs, plus a sheer mesh dress. One fan even told Emma that wearing the "tiniest" undies possible wasn't appropriate for a hiking outing.

Opting out of a traditional workout look, the Prada Beauty ambassador flaunted her toned tummy and legs in her tight black dress, one boasting lacy fabrics and embellished motifs. Going figure-hugging while showcasing her killer hips, Emma wore matching red bottoms for a beachy feel, completing her look with practical sneakers.

Accessorizing her outfit with a necklace and shades, Emma stunned while 100% makeup-free. She also sent out fun facial expressions and body language in some images. The photos, published by The Daily Mail, quickly attracted comments. Some haters trashed Emma for seemingly no reason at all, but others were specific. "That outfit is horrible," one fan said, gaining over 800 likes for their reply.

Managing to fat-shame the Hollywood star, another user said: "You'd think with her millions, Watson could afford appropriate hiking apparel, instead of an ill-fitting bralette under a nightgown, which accentuates her spare tire & saddlebags."

A further fan proved popular by calling Emma Watson's outfit "unflattering." Noting the lingerie feel as they used British terminology for underwear, a separate user said: "Women always wear a see-through negligee when hiking, with their tiniest knickers and bra. How terribly desperate for attention." Over 400 users agreed when a fan stated, "What a strange outfit. Not suitable for a hike in the heat and not flattering at all."

Emma sparked far less backlash with these bikini snaps, taken back in 2019. Enjoying a luxurious break in Mexico, she showed off her petite frame in a tight white swimsuit.
