Shortly after announcing his retirement from the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024, Kelce opened up about his desire to shed the extra weight he was holding onto as an offensive lineman.
Jason Kelce, 37, shared exactly how he planned to lean out on an episode of his podcast, "New Heights," which he shares with his NFL superstar brother, Travis Kelce. And based on a recent set of images the former shared on Instagram, it appears he stayed true to his word.

Social Media Users Are Going Crazy Over Jason Kelce's Recent Instagram Pics

Kelce has always been a fan favorite in the NFL and among a specific group of social media users, and the reaction to his most recent upload has sent them into a spiral, prompting a variety of comments all about how the former athlete's pictures have got them in their feelings.
"Jason, I'm a lesbian, I can't do this right now," a user wrote, while another posted, "Hottest man alive."
A third user left another hilarious comment, referencing the iconic 1993 song "Whatta Man" by Salt-N-Pepa. "Cue 'what a man what a man what a might good man,'" they wrote.
A Taylor Swift fan account chimed in and joked, "I'm so sorry, Kylie [Kelce], I swear I only looked for a second."
Jason Kelce's Wife Was Furious About People Drooling Over Her Husband

The most recent reaction to Kelce's fitness pictures is a common occurrence for the podcaster. Although most users are likely leaving their comments in jest, they don't sit well with Kelce's wife, Kylie.
In a report from PEOPLE, Kelce's wife voiced her unfiltered thoughts about the comments left on her husband's "thirst traps" on an episode of her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast.
During the episode, she mentioned how wild some of the comments can get, explaining how some users will use "the little drool emoji."
"I'm [going to] need you to sit down, put your tongues back in your mouth and be respectful," she said, adding, "That man is a father to my children and also, agreed."
She went on to say that while she'd love to share her affection for her husband publicly on social media, she keeps those moments private. "That’s mine," she said. "So Imma need you to get your drool comments out of there, specifically.”
Kelce Previously Said He Wanted To Lose Weight

Kelce debuting his new physique on Instagram comes a little over a year after the NFL center shared that he wanted to focus on "getting skinny" after retiring from the game following the 2023-24 season.
"I'm gonna slim down. My goal is 250 lbs," Kelce told his brother, according to a previous report from The Blast. "This last week I got down to like 285 because I knew I was doing this and then I had cake like three days in a row."
During an interview with GQ, Kelce explained why he's fixated on reaching exactly 250 pounds. “I feel like for some reason, 250 to 260 feels like I'll be still big and be happy with the way I look without having a six-pack. But I’ll still be able to have that stature a little bit," he said.
Kelce Is Losing Weight The Way He Wants

And Kelce has already declared that he plans on losing weight on his own time and not by using crash diets that can be harmful to one's body.
"There's different ways to do this. I personally don't subscribe to doing extreme diets like going all the way vegan or all the way carnivore or keto. F-ck no I'm not doing that," he said. "I feel like as long as I maintain my protein intake — so I keep my muscle — and just limit the calories, you'll start to lose weight. So that's the plan."
