Noah Cyrus Breaks Silence On Drama With Family After Months Of Rumored Feud

All is well within the Cyrus household, as Noah Cyrus claims there is no bad blood despite their highly publicized feud. 

The youngest daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus has made headlines since 2023 after her mother married "Prison Break" actor Dominic Purcell. Sources claimed the couple's union came after the latter was in a casual relationship with Noah.

The speculations skyrocketed after Noah Cyrus skipped the wedding and appeared to be on bad terms with her mother and her famous sibling, Miley Cyrus. After staying silent for months, the singer is now sharing her truth.

Although Noah did not directly address the widespread rumors of her love triangle with Tish and Purcell, she stressed that her family was unbothered by the public's perception of them. She, in particular, did not enjoy dwelling on speculations or conspiracy theories.

"I keep myself quite separated from any interest or 'drama' with the family," Noah explained to PEOPLE in her new digital cover story, noting that the one thing that connected the Cyruses to the public was music. She claimed she and her family were focused on their music rather than the noise.

However, Noah confessed that it was emotionally draining being the public's fixation, but they learned to separate their lives from the drama. She seemingly confirmed the rift within her family was real by declaring things had changed, saying: "Everybody's great and loves each other."

Noah's new album, "I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me," was a family affair, with her brother, father, paternal grandfather, and great-grandfather playing key roles in its creation. "It really was beautiful to have that bloodline [running] through the record," Noah said about the project, which she co-produced.

She noted the song "Don't Put It All on Me" was written by her brother Braison and featured lyrics that depicted her family dynamic perfectly. Noah reflected on her youth, noting she grew up fighting with her siblings and sometimes saying hurtful things.

Nonetheless, the insults they traded could not overshadow the love between the siblings. "That's your family, and they're always going to be there for you, and I'm lucky enough to say that that's been my case with me and my siblings and my family," Noah raved.

Before Noah cleared the air about the situation within her family, her actions and words frequently raised eyebrows amid the widespread rift rumors. The Blast reported in June that the singer had seemingly hinted at there being bad blood with a cryptic post.

Noah updated her Instagram Stories with sizzling bikini pictures, but the song choice had some wondering if she was still upset with her family. She set Shaboozey's "Good News" as the post's background music, highlighting the lyrics:

"Sittin' here sippin' on cold truth, no one knows what I'm goin' through. Bet the Devil wouldn't walk in my shoes."

Fans speculated her words referenced her alleged love triangle with her mother, Tish, and her new husband, Purcell. An insider claimed the Cyrus matriarch had intentionally stopped Noah and her son Braison from attending her 2023 wedding because she had pursued Purcell despite his romantic ties to Noah.

Noah revealed that the song "I Saw the Mountains" from her new album was inspired by her love story with the fashion designer. "I wouldn't have written that song if I wasn't so newly excited about somebody and [had] that hope of living a life together," she explained.

The entertainer added that she was happy and grateful for her romance with Pinkus, claiming she found stability in her fiancé. She stated that she was excited for their future and hinted at them taking things to the next step, listing motherhood as one of her top priorities.
