Wynonna Judd's once problematic daughter, Grace Kelley, has finally found peace, and she has God to thank for her spectacular growth!
Fans of Wynonna Judd are acquainted with her daughter, who made several headlines over the years for substance abuse and issues with the law. Her most recent case occurred in October 2024 when she stole a church's van.
Although the incident landed Wynonna Judd's daughter in jail, it became the motivation she needed to change. Grace Kelley opened up about the incident, noting it gave her the home she always wanted after life with her famous mother scarred her.
Wynonna Judd's Daughter Finds Loving Home Following Her Legal Troubles

Kelley got candid about her life away from drugs and crime in an interview published on July 29, revealing the best thing that ever happened to her was stealing a church's van. She explained that the incident played a key role in improving her life, noting it introduced her to a loving community.
"I've been looking for a home for a long time, and I think I found it," she said about her new life in Charlottesville, where last year's incident occurred. The drama went down on October 27, 2024, when Kelley stowed away inside a trailer attached to a van belonging to the Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene.
Kelley noted she had consumed "some bad drugs" that caused hallucinations and paranoia when she woke up in a strange place. She feared the worst, telling The Daily Progress she believed she was in a horror movie like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and tried to escape.
Grace Kelley Attained Sobriety After Spending Time In Jail

Kelley stole the van and ended up crashing it, leading to her arrest and subsequent charges for seven crimes. However, she scored a plea deal that reduced her charges to possession of drug paraphernalia, drugged driving, and petty larceny.
She spent six weeks behind bars, with legal analyst David Heilberg noting "she was in jail long enough to dry out." Kelley echoed similar sentiments in the interview, revealing she was completely sober and born again thanks to the church.
The terms of her plea deal required her to stay away from the church, but the pastor's wife contacted her after her sentence with an offer of friendship. Kelley was baptized at the church and has become a key member of its congregation. "Oh, man, it's just beautiful. I love it here," she gushed.
The Media Personality Subtly Shaded Her Mother

Kelley thanked Charlottesville, the pastor, his wife, and the congregation for giving her the strength to change her past and begin a new life. She implied her past mistakes stemmed from Judd's failures as a mother.
She confessed her life was "so m-ssed up," noting that she lived in 14 different facilities between the ages of 12 and 17. Kelley added that she lacked the structure and support needed to thrive in her childhood but found the discipline she needed to survive in Charlottesville.
"I believe that now's my time. I never had a voice, and I was iffy about talking about all this stuff, but no matter what is said about me, the Bible says the truth will set you free," Kelley explained, noting she was working on sharing her truth in a memoir.
The Country Music Singer's Alleged Role In Her Daughter's Suffering

Kelley's claims about her childhood scars continued, with allegations of sexual abuse and her mother's involvement. The Blast covered the story, reporting that Judd was accused of hiding her ex-husband's crimes against her daughter.
Kelley claimed D.R. Roach molested her when she was 10, but Judd did not file a report after discovering the crime. Instead, she allegedly tried to sweep the matter under the rug by signing her daughter up for counseling.
The truth came out after the counselors understood why Kelley needed counseling, and they reported the crime to the police, per her recollection. She stressed that Judd did not divorce Roach until his 2007 arrest for molesting her. "She's a good performer. She was never a mother," Kelley added.
Inside Wynonna Judd's Daughter's Dark Past

Following the church van incident in 2024, The Blast reported that Kelley had received seven charges, including three felony counts of grand larceny. These charges increased Judd's daughter's infamy with the law, as her criminal history involved multiple states.
In 2016, Kelley was arrested for carrying meth and sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to attend a drug recovery program. She failed to follow the court's demands, leading to an eight-year sentence at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary.
Two years after she was released on parole, Kelley was arrested in August 2021 for violating her probation. She returned to jail in May 2023 for breaking a protection order and a parole violation, only to be arrested again in April 2024 on charges of soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing government operations.
