Justin Bieber may have thought he was just enjoying a quiet night out with his wife, Hailey Bieber, but one casual puff could now land him in hot water.

The 31-year-old was recently spotted vaping inside a stylish restaurant in Hollywood in clear violation of California’s vaping ban.

Since 2016, state law has classified e-cigarettes and vape pens alongside traditional smoking, banning them in workplaces, restaurants, bars, and most enclosed public spaces.

Now, Justin isn’t only facing public scrutiny but also the possibility of fines for breaking the law.

The photo, obtained by the Daily Mail, showed the singer enjoying what appeared to be a private dinner with his wife and close friends at the West Hollywood French eatery Coucou.

Inside the dimly lit, upscale venue, Hailey held up a vape pen for her husband while he inhaled casually, despite the law placing vape pens on par with cigarettes in enclosed public spaces.

Justin, dressed down in a grey tank top that showcased his tattoos and topped off with a green-and-yellow-striped cap, looked relaxed, chatting and laughing with friends.

The model looked equally chic in a black long-sleeved top, her brunette hair pulled back in a neat updo.

According to them, the two “have been able to finally reconnect more” on a trip to Idaho with their one-year-old son, Jack Blues.

“There’s a sense of relief on both sides,” the source told the outlet. “Justin’s behavior has been more relaxed. He felt a lot of pressure hanging over him and has been in a better mental headspace these last few weeks. He is very happy there have been positive reviews of the album and that fans like it.”

According to a source, she “takes it day by day and is very patient” with her husband, who she has been with for nearly seven years.
