Rapper and entertainer Lil Nas X was recently arrested after a dramatic incident occurred in the middle of the street during the early hours in Los Angeles, California.
According to a previous report from The Blast, concerned bystanders contacted the Los Angeles police department after the "MONTERO" singer was seen strutting down Ventura Boulevard on August 21 in only underwear and white cowboy boots.
Worried that the singer could've been suffering a medical emergency or a possible overdose, law enforcement arrived quickly, attempting to help the singer before arresting him after he allegedly charged them.
Since Lil Nas X's arrest, a video has resurfaced of the singer sharing intimate details about his last few years in the spotlight, prompting some people to express concern.

A Lil Nas X fan account shared a video on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter in February 2025. In the clip, the "Hotbox" singer is wearing a pink bonnet and a white muscle tank and is speaking into the camera with much emotion, informing his followers about what has been going on in his life over the last several years.
"I want to say, 'cause I don't want you guys to feel like I'm being flaky and very all over the place," he said. "But, I was gone for a long time, you know? These last few years were pretty difficult for me. They have been pretty difficult for me."
Lil Nas X Revealed He Was Getting To A New Mental Headspace

As Lil Nas X continued in the video, the "Industry Baby" performer stated that while he has had to navigate many challenges recently, he has reached a better mental headspace.
"I'm just now, like arriving to this place of feeling confidence in myself and what I'm doing," he said. "And I'm trying to make sure I put intention towards my music and my vision and the creativity of it all."
Elsewhere in the clip, the 26-year-old revealed that he has been more focused today on enjoying the thrills that come with fame than he has been in the past. "I'm not saying I didn't have any fun, I had some f-cking fun," he said, later adding that he plans to enjoy his riches even more.

After the video was shared on X in February, concerned fans had already begun sharing their thoughts about the singer's well-being.
Someone wrote, "Something's a bit off, I hope he's doing OK," while another posted and asked, "Should we be concerned?"
A third user chimed in and stated, "He needs to move back to Atlanta and get grounded. He's still trying to find himself when he was already found."
On Instagram, after the news of his arrest made headlines, more users commented to send well-wishes his way.
"Pray for him instead of laughing," a user shared under @TheShadeRoom's post about the incident.
Another added, "He's clearly not okay... he needs help, NOT JAIL."
New Album Is Supposed To Showcase His Authentic Self

Lil Nas X's recent arrest occurred amid the singer's rollout for his second album, "Dreamboy," which does not currently have a release date. In a separate interview with PEOPLE in March 2025, he revealed, however, that this project would be unlike anything he had done in the past, emphasizing his excitement to reveal his true self to his fans.
"I wanna be myself more than ever this era," he said, later adding that he only wants to focus on the music he's performing while on stage.
Lil Nas X also opened up about only pursuing projects that he's passionate about. "If I don't want to be there, I'm not gonna be there. I think it's more important than ever to really stand in myself and my power and recognize where I'm taking my energy and where I don't want to take it," he explained.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Lil Nas X previously teased that his new era would be "carefree."
"It's gonna be fun," he shared before saying he wants his listeners to experience a different side to him this time around.
