Pete Davidson is reportedly "worried" about the state of his finances as he prepares to welcome his first child with girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt.

The comedian has been looking to sell his $1.2 million Staten Island condo after listing it in 2022, but has struggled to find a buyer.

It remains unknown if the alleged money problems have affected Pete Davidson's relationship with Hewitt, as a source previously shared that they're "constantly fighting" due to parenting pressures.

According to The U.S. Sun, a source shared that Pete Davidson isn't as financially liquid as he used to be and has been struggling to sell his $1.2 million Staten Island condo.

"He's blown through a ton of money, and it isn't coming in like it used to," the source said, adding that several of Davidson's properties gulped his earnings over the years. "He has a ton of homes at this point, and he never was able to sell the luxury Staten Island condo he first put on the market back in 2022."

The 31-year-old father-to-be bought the luxury two-bedroom, three-bathroom property in 2020 and subsequently listed it for $1.3 million, but received no offers.

He then dropped the price in 2023 but still struggled to sell it. He eventually took it off the market, only to relist it earlier this year, and is now ready to take a loss with an asking price of $1.07 million.

While Davidson's net worth is estimated to be in the millions, a significant portion of his wealth has been tied up in various investments and real estate ventures, including his part-ownership of a decommissioned Staten Island ferry.

The source who spoke to the news outlet noted that the "Saturday Night Live" alum spent a fortune on the Staten Island four-bedroom, four-bathroom home he bought for his mother, Amy, in 2017.

"Pete has spent a lot of money on that place, renovating it over the years and making it perfect, and it's been a big drain," the insider said.

According to the news outlet, the source revealed that Davidson also owns a home in upstate New York and rents another apartment in Brooklyn, with him and his girlfriend splitting time between both properties.

News of Davidson's money problems comes as he prepares to welcome his first child with his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt.

According to The Sun, a source shared last month that the couple had been experiencing a difficult time in their relationship and were "fighting a lot."

"It's getting out of control," the source said, per The Blast. "They've even started secretly recording each other."

However, another source told the news outlet that they weren't aware of such a happening at the time, adding that people should be careful about jumping to conclusions about the state of their relationship.

"There are a lot of pressures around first-time parents, and people react differently at any given moment," the source explained.

"These two have been through a lot, and hopefully, folks can let them find their way and enjoy this special time in peace," they added.

Davidson is seemingly prepared for fatherhood as he shared his excitement for welcoming his first child at the New York premiere of "The Home" on July 22.

"I'm very lucky and very, very happy," he told E! News, adding that he's looking forward to "being able to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn't have. I assume you just try to give them what you didn't have, and what you didn't like, not do it."
