Jennifer Lopez Taking Backside Selfies In Swimsuit And Heels Doesn't 'Look Good'

Jennifer Lopez faced harsh criticism last year as the paparazzi caught her snapping selfies of her backside. Enjoying a luxurious Italy vacation ahead of announcing her split from ex-husband Ben Affleck, the 56-year-old was spotted photographing herself from a boat while in a white swimsuit, and fans weren't impressed. JLo, who was fueling breakup rumors at the time, was mocked by viewers, many of whom accused her of being self-absorbed and vain. The pop sensation, who had also canceled her summer tour, was told that it quite simply didn't "look good" by one user. Others queried where the Latina's family was as she'd stated that focusing on them was the reason for her tour's cancellation.

While footage showed the "Dinero" hitmaker making her way onto the vessel in an open kaftan and heels, Jen eventually stripped down for the world to see, and she seemed keen to document her day out.

Using her phone to snap selfies that included ones of her world-famous rear, JLo highlighted her killer body while in those heels, completing her look with a ponytail hairdo and shades. The photos went viral instantly, and the response was just as fast.

"Takes boat trip in Italy, not to enjoy the beautiful water or scenery, just for the selfies," one user wrote on The Daily Mail. Over 2,000 others upvoted the remark. Referencing Jen's teenage twins, Max and Emme, another gained a similar number of likes for saying: "She said she cancelled her tour because she needs to spend time with her family. Now she’s taking vacation without her family. Make it make sense."

"Self-absorbed and prideful doesn't look good no matter what," a third said, with over 500 fans liking this reply. Jennifer Lopez was, at the time, fueling divorce rumors as she and Batman star Ben appeared to lead separate lives. In October of last year, the former couple ended their 2022-commenced marriage.

Jen made swimsuit headlines for a different reason last year. In the above Instagram photo, she marked her 55th birthday with a selfie, flaunting her insanely toned legs and trim hips in a classy white bathing suit. "This is me...Now," she wrote.

The above photo is more recent. Earlier this summer, Jennifer Lopez flashed her cleavage in a low-cut top, skirt, and snood look while marking her presence in Egypt. "Felt cute," she told her Instagram followers.
