The Brown family returns for Season 20 of “Sister Wives,” and it seems that patriarch Kody Brown is dancing with the idea of adding a new woman.

After ending his plural marriages to his exes, Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown, Kody is left with his sole wife, Robyn. But it remains to be seen how long Robyn will remain as his only spouse.

The season premieres on September 28, 2025, and highlights the family navigating the separation while facing “major turning points.”

Kody Brown Opens Up To His Wife Robyn About Another Woman

TLC aired the trailer for the upcoming installment on Thursday, unveiling an explosive and sentimental chapter for the large family.

According to the show’s synopsis, the brood is “more emotionally raw than ever,” and explores Meri giving dating another shot, while Janelle takes steps towards a spiritual divorce from Kody.

The preview also details Christine embracing her new married life with husband, David Woolley, while Kody drops a bombshell on Robyn, mentioning an interested lady.

"I got another one of those emails from some woman asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family," Kody said to Robyn in the teaser, before laughing it off.

However, from a close-up of Robyn’s face, it appeared that she was far from excited at the prospect of another wife coming into the fold.

Another scene showed Meri making efforts at starting another relationship through a speed-dating event. She admits to her friend that it’s her first time trying speed-dating. However, Meri’s close pal makes light of the situation, telling her to snort to impress potential suitors.

As the trailer unfolds, Janelle takes the spotlight, admitting she needs to “get out.” A friend encourages her decision, advising her to switch up her hairstyle and reveal an unseen version of herself.

In the following scene, Janelle speaks about totally moving on from her ended relationship with Kody. "We talked about the spiritual divorce, and I think I'm ready," Janelle says as Meri offers her support.

Christine, on the other hand, was seen in a conversation with her partner as she advised him to “hang out” with Kody. Although David joked about the chances of bonding with his wife’s former husband, the next clip showed him and Kody spending time at a racetrack.

Things get a little tense when Kody expresses he would “love healing” with his three past partners. However, each of them made it clear that reconciliation is highly unlikely.

Christine confessed to David, "I don't want to talk to Kody ever again." Janelle bluntly declared her intentions to tell him, "We'll never be friends." And Meri quoted Taylor Swift telling Kody, "We are never, ever, ever getting back together."

Elsewhere in the clip, Robyn spoke about the sale of their Coyote Pass Land in Arizona, noting that there was a lot of pain and hurt in the process.

As The Blast previously reported, the dad of 18 defended his love for Robyn and urged his exes to stop attacking him for loving her.

"There's a divine aspect about my relationship with Robyn. We have been b-tchslapped for it, and I'm sick of it," Kody declared.

He added, "I love this woman, and I want peace in this relationship, but I'm to the point where I'm walking around flipping two birds 'cause I am so sick and tired of being guilted for loving Robyn."

Although the new segment of the TLC series features the tension surrounding the sale of their valued asset, the years-long dispute over the property officially ended in April.

As The Blast reported, the family finalized the sale of the land for $1.5 million, getting a $680,000 profit from their original $820,000 purchase.

The land had been divided into several parcels. One 2.42-acre lot jointly held by Kody and Robyn sold for $305,000, while another 2.42-acre parcel co-owned by Meri and Janelle sold for the same amount.
