It was an action-packed game in The House on Tuesday night when the Aces faced the Dream.
The Aces overcame a fourth-quarter deficit securing their eighth straight win. Wilson led the team with 32 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, and four assists. Jackie Young had 16 points and Chelsea Gray added eight.

This was the team's 44th straight sold-out game.

It was another historic night for Wilson. She entered the game on Tuesday night with 1,999 made field goals. Her first made bucket became the fastest and youngest in league history to net 2,000 made field goals.
Wilson, 29 years and 11 days old, hit that mark in 259 games, beating the previous fastest, Tina Charles, who did it in 270 games and Lauren Jackson, the youngest at 29 years, 102 days old.
This milestone put Wilson as the 24th player in WNBA history to score 5,500 points. She ended the game against the Dream with 5,516 points, being the youngest and fastest to hit that mark. Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi hit the mark in 266 games, and Jackson, who was 29 years and 67 days old when she hit 5,500 points.
Wilson also became the 15th player in WNBA history with at least 5,500 points and 12 rebounds, again, as the youngest and fastest.
And if that's not enough, Wilson's double-double was the 116th of her career, which breaks a tie with Nneka Ogwumike to move into the No. 5 spot among league leaders.
When asked during the postgame press conference how Wilson thinks of all the amazing milestones as they are being announced, she said, "I don't let milestones go by because I don't take this game for granted at all. I'm actually very grateful to show up for work every single day and get the job done so I do take a lot of pride in that. But sometimes, in the heat of the moment of the game, I can't really pay too much attention to it."
She said that while she's sitting with her parents "later tonight" she will reflect on the game and "give all the grace to God."
A'ja Wilson Is The Western Conference Player Of The Week

On Tuesday, the WNBA announced that Wilson is the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from August 11 to 17. This is her 26th Player of the Week honor and fourth time earning the award this season. Other Player of the Week awards were on June 1, July 1, and August 12.
The Aces forward is only one weekly award away from tying Candace Parker (27) for second-most in league history. Tina Charles is No. 1 with 32 weekly honors.
She led her team to a 3-0 record during the week of August 11 to 17, bringing the winning streak to 7! Wilson averaged 27 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks, and shot 47.8% from the field and 90% from the free-throw line.
As of August 18, Wilson ranks second in the league in both scoring (22.6 ppg) and rebounding (9.9 rpg), while leading in blocks (2.1 bpg) and placing sixth in steals (1.6 spg).
A'One Sneakers Win A SELF 2025 Sneaker Award

Wilson’s A’Ones are a winner, and while fans already knew that, they recently won a sneaker award from SELF Magazine’s 2025 Sneaker Awards.
A’One was named the Best For Basketball in the annual sneaker awards.
SELF also asked StockX about the women’s sneaker market and they revealed that “the tide is turning: more signature sneakers for WNBA players.” In a player spotlight, they named the A’Ones “Best Release-Day Performance.”
They explained, “The A’One Pink A’ura had a better release day performance than any other WNBA’s sneaker in StockX history. It saw more than 500 trades the day it dropped, May 6, 2025. As of today, StockX has seen more than 5,000 sales which puts A’ja in a position to challenge Sabrina [Ionescu] as the top-selling WNBA player on StockX.”
