Wendy Williams continues to deny the dementia claims, with more pals claiming she is back to her old self.

The former host of "The Wendy Williams Show" has been under guardianship since 2022 after sparking concerns about her cognitive state. Her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, reignited this concern by claiming she was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Wendy Williams and her family have vehemently slammed this diagnosis as false, repeatedly stressing that she is the perfect bill of cognitive health. Insiders doubled down on these claims after a new medical evaluation reportedly re-diagnosed Williams with FTD and aphasia.

Williams recently got the public talking about the actual state of her health after she was spotted dining at one of her favorite Italian restaurants, Tucci, in New York City. She stepped out of an SUV with the restaurant's owner, Max Tucci, by her side and beamed at the cameras.

"She seems fine. She's witty and is getting healthier. It's like old Wendy," a source said about her appearance. Another echoed similar sentiments, noting Williams was emotionally exhausted by her guardianship and wanted to regain control of her life down to the last detail.

The tales of Williams returning to her old self have been floating for months, with Reverend Al Sharpton visiting her assisted living facility in April. He got candid about his experience with the entertainer, implying she wasn't cognitively impaired as her guardian claimed.

"She sounded like Wendy. She didn't sound any different…[She] wanted me to try to help her," Sharpton said at the time. Williams' attorney Joe Tacopina echoed similar sentiments, stressing that "her cognitive abilities are completely intact."

Williams also denied being cognitively impaired during her recent NYC outing. She called PageSix during her dinner in Tucci, greeting the outlet with her signature "How you doin'?" catch phrase before asking, "Do I sound like I have dementia to you?"

Before stepping into the restaurant, Williams revealed to reporters that her attorneys were "highly upset" about the speculations regarding her health. Although she did not share more details, sources noted she had to be "extra careful" about her words.

The speculations in question began after Williams underwent a new medical evaluation. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she underwent a "significant number of tests (both medical and neuropsychological)" to evaluate her neurological condition.

The lawyer for her court-appointed guardian, Morrissey, argued that the evaluation results proved that Williams' guardianship required an extension to November 5. Although the diagnosis wasn't shared, sources claimed the former talk show host was re-diagnosed with FTD and aphasia.

The possible extension of Williams' guardianship based on her new medical evaluation results came months after she celebrated a different health test. She reportedly underwent a medical evaluation in March that proved she wasn't cognitively impaired.

Williams broke the news in an interview, claiming she "passed with flying colors!" Her claims were backed by her caretaker, Ginalia Monterrosa, who alleged Williams was "not incapacitated." She underwent the examination to prove her mental state after leveling scathing allegations against her guardian.

The fight for Williams' freedom skyrocketed in January when she appeared virtually on "The Breakfast Club," accusing Morrissey of emotional abuse. She described her assisted living facility as a "luxury prison" and claimed she was being isolated from her family and friends.

Williams' lawyer, Tacopina, made waves in July for attacking the judge presiding over the case. The Blast shared that he was disappointed by Williams' guardianship's "despicably slow" processing and implied the judge was at fault.

Tacopina claimed Judge Lisa Sokoloff acted in a biased and uncooperative manner, noting he believed she would reject their motion to end Williams' guardianship. However, he declared he would push for a jury trial if she did.

This wasn't the first time Tacopina has called Sokol off out as he did so in April after she allegedly told Williams her career was over. The legal rep slammed her words as "outrageous," stressing that she had no right to berate his client or issue a gag order on her family.

Are Wendy Williams' recent outings her way of disproving the dementia claims?
