’RHONJ’ Star Margaret Josephs Denies Danielle Staub Is A ‘Horrible Person,’ Breaks Down Issues With Mom
Margaret Josephs may have been involved in a messy fight with Danielle Staub during the 10th season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” but during an interview with “Hollywood Lian” last week, the longtime reality star and podcast host admitted that she doesn’t believe Staub is a “horrible person.”
After looking back at the shocking moment in which Staub attacked her from behind by pulling her hair, Josephs said that despite their physical encounter, she believes her former cast mate Siggy Flicker is actually a far worst person, as well as a conspiracy theorist.
Danielle Staub May Not Be Meant For Reality TV
“What I can say about Danielle is, I don’t think she’s a horrible person, regardless that she pulled my hair and did all those things,” Josephs said, via YouTube. “About [Siggy], I do think she’s a horrible person. I don’t feel that way about Danielle.”
”[Danielle] may say horrible things about me and all these things [but] I think she’s a wounded bird and I feel sorry for her,” Josephs continued.
According to Josephs, she believes that Staub is simply brought to her worst behavior when the cameras are on.
“Reality TV is not for everybody. Hurt people hurt people. She’s damaged. Do I want to be friends with her? No. But do I wish any ill on her? No,” Josephs said.
Margaret Josephs Claims She And Her Mother Raised Each Other
While Staub had been appearing on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” for the past few years as a “friend” of the cast, she confirmed last January on “Watch What Happens Live” that she would not be reprising her role for season 11.
Moving on to the topic of her mother, Marge Sr., Josephs revealed that the two of them often experienced issues throughout her younger years, mainly due to the fact that Marge Sr. was such a young mom.
“We raised each other. I was more the parent, the responsible one,” Josephs explained. “There’s only 20 years difference between myself and Marg Sr. I grew up going to kindergarten having Oreos for breakfast and drinking coffee from the age of 4. I realized there was something different about us and people’s reaction towards us.”

Although Josephs’ childhood was challenging at times, she believes her hardships made her an “overly responsible” person, which isn’t a bad thing.
“I never drank. I still don’t drink because I did have a nervous feeling,” she shared, adding that she and Marge Sr. are now in a great place with one another.
“I think after years of therapy, and as I got older, she validated it. She’s the ultimate grandmother. She’s made up for it tenfold. It’s about forgiveness and moving forward. She was young,” Josephs stated.
Margaret Josephs Weighs In On Teresa Giudice’s Drama With Jackie Goldschneider
Also during the interview, Josephs opened up about the drama that took place between Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider during the season.
“I think they’re very different people. I think Teresa can hold a grudge. I don’t know if she’s necessarily holding a grudge. But I do think Teresa wants to have a better perspective. Nothing is that important to her to carry on about but in the back of her head, she does remember things. Like, ‘Oh, that happened,’” Josephs explained.
