“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne is living her best life despite her estranged husband Thomas Girardi reportedly suffering serious health problems and facing eviction from his $16-million mansion.
Despite her legal and financial problems mounting, the reality star continues to post sultry videos on her social media. Erika, who appears to still be collecting a check from Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, posted a promotional video rocking the lingerie while rolling around the bed in her new $1.5 million modest Hollywood rental.
Erika had a team of professionals makeup artists come over to get full glam. The “RHOBH” star put on a pair of diamond earrings (which could become the property of the bankruptcy estate if purchased by her estranged husband)
In the clip, Erika didn’t have a care in the world while smiling from ear to ear. Her attitude is interesting given her husband of 21 years, Thomas, is reportedly in and out of the doctor’s office dealing with serious health problems and about to be kicked out of their longtime home in Los Angeles.
As The Blast first reported, Thomas is facing eviction from his $16-million mansion in Pasadena. Last year, the once-respected lawyer was forced into Chapter 7 bankruptcy. His creditors filed an involuntary petition with the court accusing Thomas of owing tens of millions but refusing to pay a dime.
The judge signed off on the case and appointed a trustee to take over control of Thomas’s finances. The trustee is in the process of trying to sell off assets to pay back the growing list of creditors.
He recently asked the court for permission to kick Thomas out of his longtime home and move forward with listing the property.
Around this time, Robert Girardi, Thomas’s brother filed court documents asking to become the conservator of the estate. He claims Thomas is suffering from memory loss and can barely get by without assistance. His creditors have many questions about his alleged health problems. They think the timing is interesting.
At the moment, Robert is trying to stop the trustee from kicking Thomas out immediately. He wants a bit of time to figure out where to put his brother because he understands the home will be sold eventually.
He said, “I understand that my brother’s home may ultimately need to be sold. In this regard, I am making plans for him to have a place to live should his home be sold. Although presently he has no place to live that is familiar to him and near his medical professionals.”
A judge has yet to rule.
