Selma Blair is showing the 20-somethings they can shove it, drenched in a swimsuit and showing her heart of gold. The 48-year-old “Cruel Intentions” actress, who bravely continues to document her multiple sclerosis on her Instagram, today made Thursday all about the swimsuit body and tender love, showing a mean body, but a soft-as-butter heart underneath. Selma, followed by 2.4 million, included son Arthur in a pool splash shot, and it was body-ody-ody, with mom vibes. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. They come as Selma, known for reaching out on Instagram, makes headlines for getting snapped out and about with her trendy cane, one she’s received high praise for rocking up to the Oscar’s red carpet with. The choppy-haired star, today minus her cane, appeared poolside, soaked, and in a very edgy and one-shoulder black bathing suit, one highlighting steely-strong legs, a tiny waist, and strong shoulders.
The opening photo featured son Arthur jumping into a sunny pool, with Selma looking fierce as she posed with a hip-placed hand.
All eyes, Selma drove fans to swipe right, where it was just her, more body, and a pensive moment. The “Legally Blonde” face, taking a poolside moment while seated, showcased her gorgeous legs, with a quick caption focusing on others, not herself.
“Arthur and I are sending light and warmth and love to you all,” the star wrote. The post comes as Selma dedicates a string of snaps to her 9-year-old son shared with ex Jason Bleick. See more photos below!
Just yesterday, and attracting a like from actress Kate Beckinsale, Selma updated in selfie mode and from her pool with her boy, telling fans:
“Wake up. Cold plunge with my favorite boy. And then …relax… and carry on. I can hold my breath for 59 seconds. If totally still. So that’s the scoop. Good morning to you. Breathe in full. Exhale slowly.”
2020’s end, meanwhile, brought Selma revisiting her most famous career moment – that famous lesbian kiss with Sarah Michelle Gellar. See it below!
While Selma made headlines last year for marking how progressive her on-screen “Cruel Intentions” kiss with SMG was back in 1999, the “Buffy” actress actually called Selma a great kisser.
“Selma’s a great kisser,” she said, adding: “I mean, I’ll tell you, it’s just soft [lips]. She smells great.”
“Kissing a girl on camera is way better because when you kiss a guy, all your makeup rubs off and then in between you have to get these touch-ups. But [when] it’s a girl it’s, like, you’re good to go,” Gellar told Us Weekly.
